3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass, showing a lightly hazed, coppery gold color, with good persistence to the sudsy, off white/light tan head, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose started with a bit of dankness, then light grain, with some toasted malt, pit fruit, and maybe a touch of citrus. The taste was sweet, then an even tempered, earthy & rind-like bitterness that lingered well. A little less than medium bodied, with modest carbonation that was just lively enough to avoid a watery texture. Otherwise, a rather tasty, Brit-style IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Ha ha, ha seasonal March- October as described. That’s um quite a season. I like the aroma in this English malts, roasty, some hops, rough hops somewhat dank in this beer though. Same in taste robust malts, good amount of hops, not a typical English ipa as in mild. English in character but is ipa, with more malt character. Really like this one, like the style generally though. Abv might be my favorate, well done.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very straightforward ipa, citrus and pine hop flavor. It’s good, although nothing really stands out about it. Refreshing on a hot afternoon.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Murky dirty orange-gold color with a small off-white head. Very sweet caramel malts, with some citrus hop undertones. As malty as this is, it seems as though the hops are still unbalanced. Not really my bag.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Taster on tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, Wisconsin. Clear red orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Nice bigger creaminess. More dry finish. Great full mouthfeel and texture to this. Orange citrus, light spice and pine and zest. Some light caramel, bready biscuity malt. Moderate bitter taste, moderate sweet. Pretty solid balanced IPA. Not too big bodied. Easy to drink, pretty smooth.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Standard hop-heavy IPA with a bit more malty sweetness than usual to provide not so much a balance than an alternating sweet-bitter combination (though the latter is stronger).

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft (or maybe nitro). LAstyear. Much earther, maltier, and sweeter than the typical IPAs of this range.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle, consumed on 7-19-14. Scents of toffee, rose, minerals, and orange. Metallic aroma. Pours a clear amber with a moderate amount of light taupe head. Extensive, long-lasting lacing boosts the appearance to a 4. Tangy taste features flavors of toffee, coffee (which surprised me in the English IPA style), minerals, and bran muffin. Malty base with a dry finish. Dry, mineral-y aftertaste. Light to medium body. Soft in the palate. Forgettable palate effects. Overall, pleasant enough but unmemorable.
