COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Traditional IPA is a hophead's dream. The distinct sharpness of British hops and moderate alchohol are balanced by a dry, malty profile and crisp flavor. The result is a brew as smooth as a sunset paddle on the glassy waters of Lac Du Bay. Seasonal March - October.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a rocky tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and over ripe fruits, but also with an acidic edge. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with The_Enemy (thanks!). Poured a dark copper color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, floral, spices, and citrus. Tastes of oranges, caramel, floral hops, and almost a toasted nuttiness to it as well. Lots of lacing left on the glass. A very different IPA that was enjoyable.

Pours a clear copper orange with a big, foamy light tan head with leaves a good covering of lace as it subsides. Aroma has some sweet toasty caramel malty notes and a touch of English hops. Body starts with more sweet toasty crystal maltiness revealing more piny hoppy bitterness before a lslightly warming finish. Could use some more aroma hops for an IPA, but still pretty good.

12oz bottle. Smells of toffee, honey, cookie dough and a small bit of super sweet oranges. Slick and thick texture, rich and resinous, with a smooth body throughout the drink, only a small roughness showing up in the finish. It’s basically consumed by this cookie dough and honey malt syrup flavor, which even though it doesn’t belong in any IPA it’s not that bad. The bitterness isn’t aggressive at all, much more like that of stewed tea leaves (thank illinismitty for that, he’s right).

Amber with some good initial foamy head. Hop and rich dark fruit wine aroma. Very bitter leaf winterminty finish and dry.Middle-mouth feel, drinkable good ipa.Fairly malty but leaning on bitter side for sure. Above average carbonation. Thanks jpm30 for the sample.
