COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Traditional IPA is a hophead’s dream. The distinct sharpness of British hops and moderate alchohol are balanced by a dry, malty profile and crisp flavor. The result is a brew as smooth as a sunset paddle on the glassy waters of Lac Du Bay. Seasonal March - October.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2014 12 oz bottle poured into a tumbler..golden orange with fluffy white head..aroma of florals,resin,pine..crisp,dry taste with some hop bitterness..not an American IPA so I was surprised by crispness but expected a little more hop profile..just ok.

Pours a cloudy, reddish-copper, with middling head. Hops, malt, and grain are all present in the aroma. Flavor is quite malty-sweet, with some hop bite in the background. Bitter finish. Well-balanced.

Not a bad ipa. Definitely drinkable but nothing really stands out about it. Hoppy but lingers a bit long.

Moderate grassy and earthy flavors followed by a pithy earthy hop bitterness. Not much malt character. Maybe a hint of burnt bread but has a watery and thin mouthfeel. Some burnt character. But like a burnt rubber.

Nose has notes of wheat, mowed grass, chocolate and an earthiness. Pours an amber to red-brown with nearly an inch of foam that dissipates in a couple minutes. Taste is hop forward then moving to a caramel, toffee, chocolate that quickly gives way to a nice crisp hop finish. Beverage comes to the palate strong and clean, finishing crisply.

Draught @ Waterfront Ale House. Reddish dark amber with medium sized creamy beige head, slight caramel aroma, low carbonation, slightly hoppy bitter caramel taste, abrupt finish with bitter aftertaste. I did not really taste the hops much, more like an ESB.

Bottle at Top Hops, NY, 19/5/2015. AMber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Hedgerow, slightly spicy, hops, robust, earthy malts, some warming alcohol before a dryish finish. Good.
