3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear medium amber with large frothy off-white head. Aroma not up to standard of the better oktoberfests; Some bread, little caramel, wet cardboard. Flavor is much the same. Medium to light body. More of a sugary sweetness. Not too flavorful. Surely drinkable; decent beer. Not a bad beer by any means but not up to standard in my opinion.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma slightly lacking, but sweet, malts, a little hops.
Taste better than the aroma. Malts and hop well balanced, fairly smooth finish. A little bitter, a little off from some of the better octoberfests, but not a bad beer by any means.

Bottle from Blue Max, amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma of some sweet caramel, malt, bit metallic. Taste is sweet grain, some hop character, but not a fan.

Bottle. Copper pour with white head. Smells of malt and slight hops. Very malty with a slight bitter finish. Not the best Oktoberfest.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is bread-like malts and an almost raspberry jam like quality. The flavor is grainy/bread-like malts, strong fruit notes, citrus and a mostly tart/slightly smooth finish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sitting around for a few months. Good fest color, orange brown. Smelll is cleean lager. Bready, malty with a tad of fruit inthe background. Reminds me more of a british ale of some sort. Has that malty thing happening. Yes, weird musty fruit thing builds during the session. Could be a little more pleasant on the uptake. Finish is a tad medicinal.

Yeah, well, it’s an Octoberfest, but even among them I’m not sure this one is a great example. Malty with low sweetness, a hint of fruit in the aroma, but otherwise plain. Lightly metallic but if finishes quickly with a plain aspect. Bottle.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel-amber color with a small creamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy and malty though a bit vegetal. The flavor was sweet, tangy and malty with notes of molasses, caramel and faint vegetal malts. Medium finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours dark amber with a soapy off white head that leaves a sudsy film. Aroma has malt a little sweetness and subtle hops and hidden fruit. Taste has gentle hop presence with malt and subtle sweet fruity nuttiness. Palate is thin with a creamy dry finish. Decent and straight forward.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at Festival in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Bottled on SEP notched on label. The pour is a clear copper golden, slight ruby, with a one inch off white head. The aroma is rounded sweet caramel malt, maybe a soft cocoa with a hint of vanilla, and distant grass. The taste is sweet caramel malt, with the same touch of cocoa vanilla, and the grass shows a bit dirty in the back. The palate is medium bodied, with a lower carbonation level, and a silky mouth coating finish. Pretty straight forward malt sweet Oktoberfest. Nice enough.
