2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a minimal fizzy white head. The nose is toasty and slightly grainy malts with a little iced tea and some light floral hops. The flavor is mostly husky crystal malt with some moderate bitterness. Finishes with a little caramel sweetness, toasted malt, and a lingering dusty graininess. Slightly sticky and clingy with moderate fizzy carbonation. A pretty forgetable beer. Meh.

Pick up a bottle from Trigs in Wausau, Wisconsin. Poured a clear light reddish amber with an ivory cream head. It had some nice lacing as this went down. Nose sensed caramel, toast grains, brown sugar, and nut. Grainy through the mouth with bitterness around the tongue. Flavors of caramel, and some toffee hops. An average red ale

Poured into a pint glass. Appearance is amber with a sligt off white head. Nose brings light pine and floral hops with some biscuit malt. Taste is mostly malt with a tad bit of earthy bread. Light to medium feel. Drinkability is pretty good, but this is pretty tame overall.
