Aged a few bottles for a year or so. Nice blend of roasted malts. The " satin" on the label is representative of the mouthfeel, somewhat velvety. Excellent of it’s style.Lack a bit of depth and personality to put it in with elite versions of this style but very much what one would expect. I drank this somewhat as a session beer so my only complaint might be that it is a little thin.

Pours a dark black. Thick dark-brown head. Nose is chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is somewhat bitter. Slightly dry finish. Medium carbonation. Good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours very dark brown, with a tan head. Aroma of malt and coffee. Taste is similar: rich and dark taste of coffee in a good stout. Not as complex as some, but still a solid thumbs up.

Compared to other imperial stouts, it's okay but not great. Good chocolate flavors, for once not overpowered by coffee. A bit thin feeling for an imp stout, but some might reckon that's a good thing.

Bottle shared at chriso’s post-GBBF shindig 2014 - London. Pours deep brown with a foamy, tan head. Dusty chocolate abounds in this one, coloured by notes of earthy bitterness, dark sugars. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with cheap-tasting chocolate. So so.

Dark body, creamy off-white head. Had some elements of an Irish dry stout, though sweeter and the body was certainly more lively than, say, a Guinness, though I was reminded of that beer in some ways.

Bottle. Great aroma, malty and rich. The taste is complex, the malty bitterness balanced nicely with the creamy smoothness. Great imperial stout and not too thick or sluggish.

Pours very dark brown , good brown head . Smell is roasted malts, coffee . bit of oats . Taste is intense roasted malts , in all its prime . Oats, coffee , bitter chocolate in hints . Aromatic dark malts, roastyness . Simple ( In the meaning of no extra tricks , no barrel , no additives ) Yet very damn good . Which is super impressive to me . Personally , I’d like a way thicker mouthfeel , but tastewise it is spot on
