| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2009 Pours a glowing transparent copper amber with a thin covering of spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet, toasty and grainy caramel malt with a touch of hay and noble hops. Starts with some light malty sweetness and grain husk notes with some earthy bittering hops before a drier, smooth finish. Fairly true to style, but could be a bit cleaner. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Pours an amber color with a medium frothy off-white head which leaves some decent webbed lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malts, bread, and light hops. Taste is much the same. I’d have thought this was a light lager, not an Irish ale. Pretty easy-drinking but nothing special.

Light malty aroma, some cooked corn strike a slight off note. Flavor malty, with some added grape or plum elements adding a fruity note the balances some cooked vegetable bitterness. Medium body, drinkable. Juelze (927), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Bottle 12oz. - Poured orangish copper color with small white head.
Aroma - sweet caramel malt, fresh plums, cereal and cloves.
Flavor - sweet malt, similar to many scottish ales I’ve had. Goes down smooth, not bad!!!
Palate - Light body, creamy smooth texture. Carbonation is soft and finish is abrupt and lingers awhile!
Overall - Easy drinkin’ beer, cheap and worth$$$ a try!! Bockyhorsey (2561), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Bottle courtesy of mother in law. Mellow malt aroma with some spice in the mix. Body color darker shade of gold with decent head. Carbinated brew that seem to have some corinader zip and medium bitter to go along with the sweet malt. Smooth on the palate. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Bottled. Poured clear reddish-orange with a short-ish cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweeter caramel and redder fruits paired with a hit of vanilla and peat.. candied overall complexion that I enjoyed. The flavor had sweet caramel, toffee, and red fruits at the core.. spicy pine and earthy bitterness around.. finished with some sharp boozy notes and bitterness, losing some balance. Light-medium bodied and dry on the palate.. OK on the front half, but unnecessarily sharp on the back. JPDIPSO (4944), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Near copper color with a somewhat fizzy type head. What I might consider typical for the style. Dark caramel to toffee aromas, with just a hint of earthiness and light herbal hops. Has a bit more zip to the feel than I would prefer. Flavors are about right with some dark caramel, toasted malt and a bit of earthy hops. A bit more character than your average amber.
