Bottle from Austin - thanks. Pours dark brown with a mocha head. Nose is huge chocolate sweetness, with malt, toffee, oak. Flavor is vanilla, chocolate, malt, toffee, light coffee. Slightly more watery mouthfeel than I was expecting. Had a few sips that reminded me of Peruvian Morning. Really good.

Shared bomber poured to snifters, displaying a darkest brown hue, with some ruby highlighting showing through, and a very modest layer of brownish tan head foam that rapidly diminished, leaving minimal lacing, but more of a leggy coating on the glass. The nose was all kinds of dessert-like notes as fudge, sweet caramel & cream, then barrel induced vanilla, some dark fruit, and mellow but ready alcohol. Medium+ bodied, the taste offered a similar menu, texture was syrupy & sticky, as the bourbony alcohol transformed to warming, but not overwhelming. Impressive!

650 ml. bottle sampled @ Firestone Walker Tasting. Thank you beuk87! Pitch-black with no head. Super hick syrupy warming bourbon nose, thick coffee, chocolate, lots of bourbon, vanilla. Taste is thick bourbon syrup, lots of it coating chocolate, coffee, syrup, very big, warming fudge, near boozy. Body is very thick. Crazily in your face, close to being too much but that is just we like them.

This one poured a deep dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma was of lots of barrel, vanilla, coconut, chocolate, and dark fruit. Flavor was very smooth, chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla, roasted malt and coconut. Excellent barrel aging.

Sampled on tap at GABF 2014. Pour is pitch black with a frothy brown head and great lacing. Brownie batter, light spice, some vanilla, deep roasted chocolate, espresso, toffee, caramelly, and coconut in the aroma. Taste is sweet chocolate cake, brownies, caramel, coffee, coconut, rich toffee, wood, and big bourbon notes. Viscous mouthfeel with soft carbonation. More spice brownie cake awesomeness! So fucken good.

>> Thank you Todd for this insanely generous treat. Inky pour, medium reddish foam. Aroma is dark cherry, plum, mushroom, bourbon, coconut, Ferrero Rocher truffle. Taste is absolutely one of the best BA RISs Ive tried with extreme coconut like bourbon, super silky semisweet chocolate, warming and spicy. Ridiculously well integrated. Easy to love. Fantastic.

22oz bottle in a taster at the 2014 pre-FoFA bottle share. Pours dark brown/near black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, oak and vanilla and bourbon, some roasted malts, and some dough with some light bitterness. Flavor the same with a great blend of everything. Thick texture. A solid barrel-aged imperial stout.

Bottle shared by a kind soul at BBF14. Taken from notes: little vanilla bomb in the nose, all in a good way and dosed near perfection. Mellow and silky body. Taste is like an chocolate chip cookie: sweet and chocolaty goodiness.

22 ounce bottle at a tasting. Pours black with a decent tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and bourbon. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, bourbon, barrel, and vanilla. I enjoyed the bourbon not dominating the taste. Very smooth. Excellent.
