pretty decent stout but not much a big fan of the heat in the throat. Pretty tasty though. I would like to have my stout with pepper flavors and no heat. Its not hot my any means but it not everyone’s cup of tea. still try it if it was on tap or something.

Bottle thanks to my brother in law! Pours opaque black, medium dark brown head, creamy and slow to dissipate with nice lacing left behind. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla, chili peppers. Flavor is light sweet and medium bitter, medium spicy - more so than hinted by the nose. Roasty, cocoa, some coffee, peppery, but more of a heat than a flavor note. Medium body., creamy mouthfeel.

> Extremely bitter raw cocoa and Mexican hot chocolate inky RIS

[ Bottle ][ 12oz ][ motorheadtodd ][ Trade ][ Hotel Room Garbage Glass ][ 8.16.14 ]
>> Ink pour with massive reddish foam. Higher carbonation than necessary. Great retention. Spicier Mexican hot chocolate nose. Fairly spicy taste up front with extreme bitter 100% cacao bar in the finish cocoa. Overly intense cocoa powder. Palate is too powdery. As it warms up, it dumps some metallic off flavors and astringent bitterness. Much better.

Bottle shared at Levi’s tasting. Thick, black beer. Some pepper in the aroma. Flavor of overly burnt malt and a mild burn, which I attribute to the peppers.

Bought a bomber at the central waters. Actually, not that bad. Not my cup of tea, but ok. Decent stout, with a slight pepperyness.

Bottle shared at LeviLOL tasting. Black pour - not very thick, bigger taste than you might think. Some spice but not overly hot. Lots of chocolate really nice!

Bomber. Very dark thick oily pour with a brown head. Peppers on the nose. Smooth slick palate. Malty and fairly bold peppers on taste.

Pours dark brown/black with a nice white head. Aroma is mostly that of chocolate and roasted malts with small clues that the beer contains something a little extra (peppers). Nice taste that is a nice balance of bitter and sweet with back end hotness from the peppers/alcohol. The burn from the peppers increased as my glass warmed and began to coat my whole mouth and throat. Very enjoyable if you like hot things like I do but could be a nightmare to some. Drink at different temps to enjoy different levels of heat. Enjoyable either way.

Pours black with some brown hues. Small khaki head and moderate lacing. Aromas of char, roasted chestnut, some light coffee and slight alcohol. Taste has some bitter chocolates and coffee upfront moving to a light roasted malt backbone. Medium body and a low carbonated mouthfeel. A little flat towards the back end, but the flavors continue to carry some weight. The heat from the pepper is moderate...not nearly as hot as I was expecting. Has a lasting finish, a bit oily in the mouthfeel here. Nice roasted malt with the heat. Pretty decent stout and I am not always a big fan of beers with heat.
