Jabswitch (177), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 9, 2008 I was impressed. Fairly bold aroma of grains and citrus. Very attractive reddish gold with a sizeable head. The flavor struck me as being stronger than most wheat based beers. My beer, poured into a glass, seemed a bit flat. That was the only complaint I had about this beer. tjthresh (1257), LaPorte, Indiana and Belton, Missouri, USA Jun 28, 2008 12 ounce bottle shared by csbosox. Pours amber orange and pretty clear. No head. Malty, yet kind of under attenuated. Sweet nose. Not year character. No German character here at all. Medium body. High carbonation. Sweet finish. csbosox (948), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jun 28, 2008 Aroma is spicy clove, vanilla, sharp wheat, and some banana. Taste is sharp wheat with some vanilla, light lemon, and spiciness. Maybe a touch underattenuated. Dorwart (1594), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Jun 22, 2008 Thin head of fine bubbles which disappeared rather quickly. Light wheat and grassy aroma with some spicy notes ans some banana. Color is a hazy dark orange. Light body. Good bit of tartness in there which makes the mouth salivate. Soft malts, some tea and a bit of orange. Bit gritty also. FInishes tart and a bit roasty. This brew is all over the place. Not real good in my opinion. phishpond417 (1162), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 16, 2008 Sampled from bottle: pours a hazey golden colour with a full creamy white head. Aroma is sweet, hints of yeast, lemon zest and soft bananna. Soft and spicey mouthfeel with wheat and subtle caramel in the finish.
