Fra flaske på RBHD-treff hos OG, rett etter KB juleøl: også her fint utseende, og med litt mørkere karamellsmak en foregående. Soya/svisker?

Bottle. Pours a clear brownish beer with a very small, off white head that leaves the beer very quickly. Aroma is very artificial, herbal, caramel and has some fake malty touches. Flavor is incredibly sweet, loads of sugar, herbal touches and very artificial. Aftertaste is sweet, watery and very fake and not so nice really..

330 ml bottle, as Ceres Jule-Hvidtøl, from Kiwi Hirtshals. ABV is 1.9%. Ingredients include maize, sugar and colour E150c. Mahogany colour, moderate beige head. Sweetish aroma of malts, maize and syrup. Rich mouthfeel. Sweet, malty and sugary / syrupy flavour. Minimal hops. This beer is a "holy" Danish Christmas tradition, and as such "bigger than itself". Not the worst low alcohol beer you can drink, if you can handle the sweetness.

Pours dark brown / black. Slight pale brown head. Aroma reminds me of the canned liquid malt you could buy from Boots in the 1970’s for home brewing. Not a good memory! in fact it tastes a little like that although sweeter. I would never have bought this beer - it was given to me several years ago and I have kept putting off trying it. Until drinking I hadn’t noticed it was a low alcohol beer. Too sweet for me but I get the festive idea.

Tan thin head. Black brown body. Laceless. Aroma mostly raisins and cola. Tastes mostly raisins, prunes and cola. Sweet stuff on palate. Hopless. Not much finish. Much sugar though. [33cl br bottle, 1.9%abv BB270914]

Bottle courtesy of my parents. Clear dark brown with a small beige head. Grain, brown sugar, light syrup, rye bread, dark dried fruit. Light body, medium sweet with no bitterness. Oily/watery texture, soft carbonation. I grew up on this as a child and apparently I still have a tolerance, though it is very sweet and sugary.
