Colour is fantastic at least for postioning and marketing purposes. Pink foam is attractive, too. Wildberry notes, somehow fruity. Its sweet. Bitterness is low. I think the packaging desing is really appealing.

330ml Bottle, red, brown colour. White quick disapperaing head. Its sugary and fruity with some strawberry and lemony notes. Preety OK beer.

Pours out extremely red. Malty peat laden caramel aroma. Very sweet taste, much like Innis & Gunns casked ales. Smooth crisp body. Certainly sets the mood for an Orkney invasion.

330 ml clear glass bottle, bought in Italy. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6.5% Clear body, bright caramel red colour. Almost two fingers of lightly pink head, froathy, with low retention. Light lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity, light caramel, candy sugars. Same goes for the taste, some hints of fruits but kind of artificial, candy sugar, more obvious caramel, alcohol notes. Average carbonation, light body. Nothing too impressive here, it drinks OK but it will be quickly forgotten.

Bottle @ DE meeting. Clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 170713

The only really notable thing about this beer is the colour. The flavor is unremarkable, a fairly bog-standard beer. Nothing to commend. Not terrible, just not noteworthy.

0,33 l clear bottle kindly provided by a friend of the family. Pours a hazy deep chestnut orange body with a bubbly half moon film. Pungent aroma of sherry, with dates and raisins. Soapy, flat, full bodied over-ripe sweet prune juice with malty hints hidden in the tail. Reminds me of a wine made from rosehips that I drank once when I was a kid. It had gone bad, and so had we.
