Purchased this beer at Los Manantiales liquor store for about 30 pesos in Mexicali,Mexico.I also heard that this one is available in bottle at Monaco Beer Club.I had sampled another two beers from this brewery like 2 years ago (Catrina & Jaguar),way before they improvised their image and they were really regional,in the Bajío region,so The Beer Box was handy enough.This beer itself it was a nice surprise,The aroma was roasted malt and some deep coffee and and subtle dark chocolate notes,quite carbonated for being a sout in my little experience,the barley or the malted barley and the hops wasnt much accord to the style i sense.But this one was good roasty surprise.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2010 A really nice stout, probably the best in Mexico after Minerva’s. Exquisite bitter aftertase. Nice!

Awesome onw, the best stout in the country I say. I liked the foam and the toasted grains aftertase.
