Very forgettable beer. Usually south american lagers are quite tasty, but this one is simply watery. Good to quench the thirst, nothing more

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
2005 Bottles drunk at various bars in Asuncion, met cool locals who took me on a pub crawl and wound up at a metal bar. The night was memorable for the friendly locals not the very forgettable lager which is your typical macro: gold, fizzy, slight head, sugary/sweet corn adjunct type malt flavor. If you’re used to macro lagers it is fine, at that time I was so it did the trick.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
A pale blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, grainy sweet malt with light corn adjunct notes, but not offensive. In mouth, typical South American lager with light grassy malt, light corn, faint hops, easy to drink when it’s 30C and humid. Can from a little snack bar close to my hotel.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
As many other commercial beer brands, this is a watery and very poor in terms of taste, short time head, and its artificial final flavor. For hot weather is an option. Can 0.355 L, and 0.94 L and 0.62 L bottles

La mejor del paraguay, a mi criterio. Buen gusto. Buen aroma. Autentica paraguaya. Sin dudar entre las nacionales

I tasted a beer by the name of "Pilsen Ñanembae Teete" and the taste is quite similar to the two ratings here. Plus I have only found two Paraguayan beers having the name Pilsen, and I believe this must be the same beer. Pale yellow colour. Soft malty bit sweet flavour with an ok mouthfeel and average aftertaste. One of the better beers from this locked up South American country.

Had this in the airport at Montevideo. Not too bad but no authority to speak of at all. Good with my food.
