2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
I drunk it a while ago. A dark beer with some caramel and coffee notes. Drinkable but not remarkable, but good for Portuguese standards.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle in the hotel Cascais, from Jumbo Cascais, 12/09/13.
Pours mahogony brown with a good light tan head that soon dissipates to a covering.
Nose is toasted malts, brown sugar, grain, fruits.
Taste is caramelised sugars, bready malts, woody tones, brown bread, nutty.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation with a touch of spritz, toasty bready finale.
So so - good by Portugeuse standards!

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Black with glint of ruby body, tan-ish head that lasted about ten seconds. Burnt toast and mircowaved chocolate nose. Very tinny/mettalic initial taste that isn’t shaken by a maltier middle and roast finish. Fairly poor.
Bottle, random grocers, Porto

AirForce Hops..you’re good people. 12oz in an HFS wine goblet. Dark nutty brown, hints of amber ont he edges. off white head that fades slowly. Very light, toasted and roasty. Sort of a cheap scent. Taste are hints of caramel and other sugars. Sort of creamy. There’s some hint of fruits like pears and apples. It’s not terrible. Weak and very much a BBQ beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Paid 3.89 Euro for a 33 cl six pack. Poured into a mug. Deep brown with lots of ruby highlights around the edges. Respectable retention. Nose is generic malt. Flavors of toffee and malt, with a light metallic note in the finish. No bitterness. Thin, weak palate. Not offensive in any way, just real cheap.
