The colder the better that’s for sure. Thirst-quenching .A typical portuguese pale lager. Thin body , pale and not full of favor. Still better value than the overpriced Sagres and Superbock beers.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Tasted 12/4/15 at Mercado Provenzal, La Latina, Madrid, Spain. Poured a crystal clear amber with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished slowly to a collar and laced OK. Carbonation extremely low and fine. Aroma of sweet malt; no obvious hops. Taste light and of sweet malt with no real bitterness. Light body. Smooth, crisp and refreshing while cold. A lager rather than a pilsner. Another macro-brewed beer.

Das cervejas portuguesas não é a minha favorita, nem a mais saborosa. Mas é um paladar que só os ibéricos entendem. é nosso, não se parece com alemãs ou belgas. É o nosso sabor

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Keg at Lowlander. Pale yellow, almost a green hue, still, pretty clear, small foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is light musty lager. Body is light, slightly foamy, low-ish carbonation. Taste is light and watery, biscuity malts, soft bitterness. Really drinkable due to a lack of flavour - quaffed a fair bit of this.

Average pala lager. Nothing to emphasize about. Watery and grainy aroma. Sweet malts and corn on the taste. The colder the better.
