Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt and sulphur. Medium body, rather soft mouthfeel, malt and sulphur with a dry finish. 010510
Earlier Rating: 4/22/2005 Total Score: 2
(Bottle 33 cl) Nice scent of hops, golden, smal head but big enough to leave laces in my glass. Pronounced malty sweetness and notes of some sort of starch - probably corn? All the hops evaporated in the smell leaving no bitterness... 220405

bottle, thanks to my girlfriend visiting Porto. golden colour with unstable white head. Yeasty smell. Taste: very watery, grainy, yeasty. Not bad and refreshing pils but a bit too watery in my opinion.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Small, bit irregular white head formed over well-carbonated, clear golden beer. Outspoken, even near-oppressive toasted malts nose, grassy. Sweet grass, greenmalt, little sourish point, and ending virtually empty. Retronasal thereís indeed jasmintea, but if I hadnít read that @ Garthicus, I would have missed that. Metallic near-bitterness on the fizzy, empty palate. Ubiquitous world lager; apt for the global crisis.

Can? hell, I donít remember - shared by garthicus while we watched the CNE airshow from my balcony with our wives, September 2009. (one wife each, donít be a smart-arse). Clear light gold with a very bright white sticky-looking diminishing head. Aroma of heather, weeds, sugar and PVC - ehh. The taste isnít that bad - light, sweet, stale-grassy, maybe a hint of perfume. Weak and watery body, pretty much flat, with a quick finish and a slightly sugary aftertaste. Meh - Iíve had worse, but if this were the only sort of "beer" in the world I would never touch the stuff.

íCristal Pilsenerí. Bottle. High airy fluff, uneven and lacing negligibly over beaten gold. Unpromising glue, potato and grass aroma, heavily vegetal notes smothering menthol and bready traces. Some cork, pallid lemony and orange fizz along with the watery spruce and envelope. Unconvincing bitterness to finish, popcorn afters. Way more maize than hop. Poor manís Sagres, and a pretty generic sardine beater.

Bottle from local super market in the algarve, portugal. Alround rating: Poor lager, the sweetness of the malt exstract and the herbal hops give it quite a barnyard like flavour. However at 40 euro cent each its difficult to complain.

Clear yellow colour, light bodied with a medium sized white top that leaves a nice pattern of lacing down the glass. An aroma that is for the most part bland, but particuarly bready.
