COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
Ingredients: Pale, Caramel, and Chocolate malt; Sugar; Colour -E150C; Hops.
Launched in 2003.
"Super Bock Stout is a black beer, produced from special malts which give it a distinct flavour and aroma, and a long-lasting creamy head. It differs from the other black beers on the market because it is richer in extract, more full-bodied and with a more complex (almost fruity), not-so-roasted taste and aroma."

bartlebier (1724) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2014
30cl bottle bb11/2014, from Portuguese delicatessen around the corner. Smell of pancake syrup and roasted supermarket marshmellows. Taste is same with a particularly watery yet sticky palate. Some butterscotch and filter coffee. Makes sense to see it classified as a Schwarzbier... Not bad for a PT macro stout/schwarz, though hardly pairing material for the magnificent Portuguese seafood. Saudades an bastarda und bierle!

bottle on vacation - pours black with tan head. some chocolate / coffee aroma. Taste is sweetish - no bitterness. more like a dark mild or porter than a stout.

edsspoon (416) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2014
Bottle - pours a deep red with a large reddish-brown fizzy head which lasts for a while. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt with some light malts, coffee, hints of soy sauce and copper. Taste is chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, vanilla, hint of coffee, medium sweet finish. An unexpectedly light body with medium carbonation. Very drinkable but not that interesting.
