"Super Bock Stout is a black beer, produced from special malts which give it a distinct flavour and aroma, and a long-lasting creamy head. It differs from the other black beers on the market because it is richer in extract, more full-bodied and with a more complex (almost fruity), not-so-roasted taste and aroma."

Bottled. A black beer with a thin long-lasting off-white head and a touch of lacing. The aroma is thin; with alittle light roast a touch of milk and a touch of smoke permeating through the wateriness. The taste is a little lactic, with a touch of roast and a smooth fruitiness. A reasonable stout but nothing special.

(33cl bottle) Clear, opague colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Discreet aroma: slightly sweet and roasty malty nose with light notes of chocolate and caramel. Sweet and slightly sourish flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Earthy dark and roasted malt-character with a touch of chocolate and very subtle fruity notes; moderately dry and roast-bitter finish with shades of toffee and chocolate. Lacks depth, but is otherwise drinkable (21.XI.08).

Bottle. Very dark brown to black-colored with a medium beige-light brown head. Malty aroma with toasted bread, caramel, some roastiness and coffee notes. Sweet caramelly flavor, somewhat sugary, with some vegetal notes, chocolate hints and light sourish touches. Finishes drier with a faint roasty note. Medium-bodied. OK.

Fast gone foxy-cream head, over deep dark red-brown beer. Perfumed chocolatey nose, like pralin or chocolate filling with spirit or liqueur; maybe some wood. Dry, near-woody flavour, but rather watery finish. Very dry malts, lots of water, near no roasted notes. Warming up, acquires syrupy sweetness. Bit sticky MF, medium bodied at best. Not very stout, and too sweet - even for a Dunkel.

Bottle from Claire, many thanks! consumed Oct 2011 Pours black with a tan head. Touch thin and lacking in a nice really roasty up frontness. Tastes mass produced, though it is easy drinking. A6 A4 T5 P2 Ov11 2.8

Cloth bag, Hunstanton. Almost pitch with clinging tan suds. Genuine sweet charcoal, burnt malt, slightly curranty aroma. Milky coffee, chocolate, a chew of dark fruits. The most rounded and serious Iberian interpretation of a dark beer Ive tasted. If it was a roasty smooth chocolatey English mild Id give it at least 3.5, so thats exactly what its getting. Against all expectations, a really tasty, well-conditioned beer.

Opaque black with a tall, bubbly tan head. Looks nice enough. Sweet milk chocolate and caramel aroma, a bit corny, though not bad. Sweet, milky, chocolate flavor. There is a touch of strangeness in there, something artificial, but overall it isnt bad. A bit too sweet, for sure. Nicely rich body as well. Much better than their light beer.
