Bottle; Pasteurised.
Ingredients: Pale, Caramel, and Chocolate malt; Sugar; Colour -E150C; Hops.
Launched in 2003.
"Super Bock Stout is a black beer, produced from special malts which give it a distinct flavour and aroma, and a long-lasting creamy head. It differs from the other black beers on the market because it is richer in extract, more full-bodied and with a more complex (almost fruity), not-so-roasted taste and aroma."

(Bottle at Chris & Ruth, thanks) If there were bock stouts they would perhaps taste like this. Taste and aroma contained all usual bock flavours. The looks and the abv were from stout. Not a bad brew.

Bottle from Claire, many thanks! consumed Oct 2011 Pours black with a tan head. Touch thin and lacking in a nice really roasty up frontness. Tastes mass produced, though it is easy drinking. A6 A4 T5 P2 Ov11 2.8

Bottle 25cl, a dark beer with medium light brown and creamy head. Nose is on toasted malt and caramel, some spices too like licorice and cinnamon. Aroma is sweet, caramel and metallic notes, body is low, burnt caramel too. Finish has no hops just toasted malt, thin, a bit boring but anyway nice to get brown beers from the south of Europe.

kerenmk (3089) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUL 6, 2012
Bottle. Pours dark red-brown, opaque, off white bubbly head. Sugared coffee aroma, a little roast but too faint to mention, really. Tastes softly bitter, somewhat artificial. Light-to-medium body, carbonated, a little roast in the finish.

Bottle. Very dark brown to black-colored with a medium beige-light brown head. Malty aroma with toasted bread, caramel, some roastiness and coffee notes. Sweet caramelly flavor, somewhat sugary, with some vegetal notes, chocolate hints and light sourish touches. Finishes drier with a faint roasty note. Medium-bodied. OK.

Bottle@holiday. Cream colored foam head, shrinking. Dark brown color. Aroma sweet, hops, some roasted malt. Taste mild, some bitter, some roasted malt. Palate refreshing, not lasting. Overall not a real stout, but worth trying

Short-lived tan head over mostly opaque body with ruby highlights. Aroma of dark caramel, raisins, and roast. Taste of roast, burnt toast, and burnt sugar. Medium body, medium palate.

maekchu (2602) - Hirakata, JAPAN - OCT 26, 2012
Bottle from local Liquor Mountain. Lots of yeast and some coffee notes in nose. Dark, opaque, toast-brown head (caramel coloring is added). Syrupy-sweet mild coffee initial; mid is a slightly richer version of initial; final is much the same. Medium-heavy body. Rather mild and sweet; too fizzy for the style. Not really bad, but far from really good. Better than their other beers. Like a fair-to-middlin’ homebrew.

My last remaining beer I brought home from my holiday in Portugal earlier this year: 33cl well in date, poured @ home into a ’Gordons Gold’ thistle shaped glass. Looked very impressive: but any dark brew looks good in the glass I choose to use. Huge foaming head of tan coloured bubbles sat on top of the dark brown/ruby body. The nose and taste both have hints of chocolate and coffee: nothing strong or ’super’ about the flavours, but they are there if you sniff and sip deeply enough. Not sure it would muster as a Stout here in the UK, more a black lager really in body depth and feel. It’s just about OK, I tried it while on holiday and obviously thought it good enough to fly home with me, so it must have something about it, I just can’t find whatever that something is anymore!
