Ingredients: Pale, Caramel, and Chocolate malt; Sugar; Colour -E150C; Hops.
Launched in 2003.
"Super Bock Stout is a black beer, produced from special malts which give it a distinct flavour and aroma, and a long-lasting creamy head. It differs from the other black beers on the market because it is richer in extract, more full-bodied and with a more complex (almost fruity), not-so-roasted taste and aroma."

Light chocolat aroma. Dark redish brown color, light brown head, very nice lace. Sweet, light bitter to bitter in the end, roasted, coffee, smooth. Not a stout like I like them in winter (strong, full, heavily flavored) but a very nice one to drink even in summer.

Cloth bag, Hunstanton. Almost pitch with clinging tan suds. Genuine sweet charcoal, burnt malt, slightly curranty aroma. Milky coffee, chocolate, a chew of dark fruits. The most rounded and serious Iberian interpretation of a dark beer I’ve tasted. If it was a roasty smooth chocolatey English mild I’d give it at least 3.5, so that’s exactly what it’s getting. Against all expectations, a really tasty, well-conditioned beer.

330ml bottle. Black as the ace of spades with a flat even coffee coloured head that dissapates quickly. Mild coffee bean and chocolate aroma that is pleasant. A little thin but good none the less with burnt toffee and dark chocolate. A nice surprise as I did not expect much.

Bottled from supermarket in Albufeira, Portugal. Black appearance, small brown head. Malty nose, caramel, roasted, some liquorice. Very sweet flavor, lots of liquorice, some malts. Little bit bitter in finish. Seems like the Portugese equivalent of Dutch ’oud bruin’. I like it, though it seems closer to a sweet stout than a dunkel.

330ml Bottle at Home 17/05/2010 Fruity slight roast aroma. Beige head. Dark coloured smooth and a little sweet on the palate with a hint of dryness in a lasting roast finish.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2013 Brown with a small beige lace. Roasted malts, yeasty, light sweet hints, nuts. Pretty refreshing still, but with some nutty flavour. Bit sticky maybe and straightforward, but better than expected. (33cl bottle at a Valencian restaurant) Very dark brown, light tan head. Very sweet aroma, wort, cheap liquorice candy. Light bitter , moderate burned malts. Soft carbonation, sticky ending. Clean and boring, more of a dunkel. Okay, bit sweet. (30cl tap at Cavas de Cervejas)

A creamy but at the same time not so heavy beer. A dark beer for the not so cold days of the portuguese winter.
