2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap, poured into a pint glass. The aroma has a bit of a mineral hint to it as well as corn bread, and near the end, a bit of old, wet sponge comes forth before settling on primarily crusty bread. The beer is a sparkling clear, and effervescent straw color with a moderate, soap white head that has okay retention and good lace. The beer is a medium light sweet with a medium bitter finish. It’s thin, light and crisp with a zippy carbonation and a light body. The flavor is primarily corn and bread, with a hint of butter, and some caramel, that finishes with a crispness and a bitter lemon rind and bread crust. There’s a clove touch that adds a light dryness to the finish and the aftertaste is lightly astringent, a bit bitter, and has a bit of a burnt flavor.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle at Bastos restaurant. Aroma: lemon, skunk, cereals. App: clear pale, no head. Taste and palate: light body, high carbonation, light dry acidity finish. Overall: pretty bad, something I sure won’t buy again. The kind of beer I would drink in an all inclusive resort and not complain too much

Simple lager, very easy to drink, very easy to forget. It is what it should be: refreshing, accesible and featureless.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
From a bottle in Lisbon, Spain - A clear amber pour with a white head and some lacing. The the taste is pretty much what one would expect from a mass produced beer. Not super but not not bad either. Malt froward - slightly sweet -not much hop presence. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, I have worse and I have had better. Met my needs after a walking tour through a mid-evil village in Portugal.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Golden clear color, sich moderate foam. The smell is not so tempting, like a body heavy lager. Which it is. A normal body heavy lager. Preferably to be drank very cold and freshly open, since low carbonation is certainly not helping.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of corn, sugar, cheap alcohol. Taste is of a cheap mass produced lager. Awful.
