Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is light malty and light straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Light sweet finish. There is nothing super about this. 051210

Bottle. Light gold appearance. Big hop aromas, plus vinyl shower curtain and mild sugar. Nicely hopped makes for a refreshing drink, but does get a little vegetal and cardboardy towards the finish. Good but not great.

Bottle 330ml at restaurant. Quite light taste, not too much of carbonation. I find it a bit bitter.

Bottle 330ml @ home
Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of mal, grain and light hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Light yellow in colour with a nice white head which doesn’t last too long. A sweetish malty aroma but a flat non inspired watery taste. No real after taste. An average mass produced lager. Skip it unless you’re in Portugal with no other choice.

This was OK for a Euro pale lager - quite clean tasting, bit of a hop bite and reasonably bitter. Nothing remarkable but perfectly drinkable.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Slightly ’dark’ tasing lager. Dry with a zesty undertone and a slightly bitter finish. Not too bad!

330 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear bright gold with small white head. Aroma is grainy, mildly corny and lightly grassy. Taste likewise. Light body. Bah. But at least the name is funny. And it is infinitely better than the Boxer Ice I just poured down the drain.

From bottle no. 07.2011.05:22-L2620901. It pours an olive-yellow color with a small fizzy head that dissipates quickly. It smells skunky even for a brown bottle and there is corn and grass in there as well. The taste is a bit better with more noticeable malts and thin hops. It tastes like a macro American adjunct lager rather than a bock beer.

Bottle at Iberia. Pours out a pale golden color with a two finger head. Aroma is of sticky sweet malts, and maybe some hop? Taste is watery, cereal grains, corn syrup and maybe a little hop in there somewhere. Better than Coors Light, but that isn’t saying much
