2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
19th November 2006
Warning! Early amateur rating! Slightly ’dark’ tasing lager. Dry with a zesty undertone and a slightly bitter finish. Not too bad!

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear bright gold with small white head. Aroma is grainy, mildly corny and lightly grassy. Taste likewise. Light body. Bah. But at least the name is funny. And it is infinitely better than the Boxer Ice I just poured down the drain.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
From bottle no. 07.2011.05:22-L2620901. It pours an olive-yellow color with a small fizzy head that dissipates quickly. It smells skunky even for a brown bottle and there is corn and grass in there as well. The taste is a bit better with more noticeable malts and thin hops. It tastes like a macro American adjunct lager rather than a bock beer.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle at Iberia. Pours out a pale golden color with a two finger head. Aroma is of sticky sweet malts, and maybe some hop? Taste is watery, cereal grains, corn syrup and maybe a little hop in there somewhere. Better than Coors Light, but that isn’t saying much

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml bottle. Yellow fizzy water. Aroma of pale lager. yuch. Barnyard straw, cereal dissolved in water, and light earth herbs. Distant wintergreen. Flavor of malt syrup and canned corn. Very thin, very bland, very boring.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle, label reads 5.4% alc.,
has a clear light gold pour with a one to two finger high white head,
this beer has aromas of bread malt and a little white sugar sweetness, there may be some alcohol, faint grassy hops and corn,
there was a faint flavor of malt, not much else, I think there was a touch of alcohol flavor in the background,
there was a little bitterness at the finish, and had a thin mouth feel,
a simple pale lager.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bouteille 330 ml. 5.4%. Couleur jaune or. Mousse blanche.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Smells just like the rest of the pale lagers I"ve been drinking tonight, but perhaps slightly worse. flavor is on par too- don’t get enough malt to really think of this as a bock at all. Maybe a hint of alcohol in the finish.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A nice refreshing lager with some nice malty frutiness and some pleasant herbal hops. Light and refreshing. Definitely one of the better pale lagers I have had to date.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Pours out a crystal clear, light amber body. Though there were some bubbles initially on the pour, they fizzled away in seconds.
Smell: Sweet-scented cereal notes with even lighter touches of fruit, hops, and alcohol.
Taste: Very mild, thankfully inoffensive tastes present. Lightly sweetish malted barley, scant scattering of corn kernels, faintly bitter European hops, and a hint of apple fruitiness. In and out in a flash.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A light, easy drinking, but very forgettable beer, though the brazen SUPER BOCK label did bring a smile to my face.
