The tradition runs deep in the glowing yellow color. This smells like the time i made beerios with coors and some corn chip stank on the side. Tastes like sour milk flavored water out of a tin can. This I can say is not a good beer. Dammit portugal, I hope you make something better than this.

devilishly clear sparkling golden yellow shine..a very bright and even semi-thick head of itsy-bitsy bubbles..saaz hops & cereal aromas lift..grainy flavors and salty notes..doughy..slight alcohol and grains get cumbersome..a little tangy too..has a burn to it that isn't exactly appealing..and a metallic tang aftertaste.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Pale golden colour, with a fine white, lacy head. Sweet malt flavours surrounded by a good amount of hop. Easy drinking. Had plenty in Lisbon that all tasted better then this re-rated sampler. That's what location, location, location does for a beer.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Tastes like high quality malt liquor. Not bad. Clean for the style

went aong to the international food and beer festival at marrickville portuguese club and all they had, aside from the carltion van, was millers, asahi, sagres and this stuff. so i drank this before going on the hurricane. certainly quite sugary and with plenty of corn. medicinal aroma

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Easily the best beer I've had outside Australia, and better than most I've had inside Aus.... It has a good full strength taste, and doesn't suffer when poored out of a stubby.

Like a American Standard with with brown sugar added. Boring and unimaginative...

I thought I was going to be hit with skunkyness and a blast of alcohol. I found neither. This must be fresh because it wasn’t in the store the other day. What I did find was a sweet beer that was creamy in the mouth. Nothing to fantastic about it though. Middle of the road.
