3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can. The off white foam is foam at first high, but it dissolves slowly into a light two finger thick head. The liquid is clear and pale yellow.
The smell is pretty strong, sweet and dominated by a dry flavour of dough and white bread.
The carbonation is nice and strong with big bubbles.
The taste is sweet and very malty with notes of white bread, dextrose and some lactose. The flavour is on the whole quite simple (but not bad) with some bitterness and alcohol. The aftertaste is soft and balanced with notes of sweet malt, although it is quite short.
An well done adjunct lager (sugar is added!); this might be a good thirst-quencher for hot summer nights.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not a lot to add over and above standard pale larger characteristics. Slightly deeper gold in colour than I would have expected. A little funky on the nose (like a bretty wine) and there’s a reasonable degree of palate weight that I can only pin on the relatively high 5.6% alcohol. One of the better pale largers going around.

Pale yellow beer with small white head. Perfumey corny aroma. Light malts, with some sweet notes, and some german hopsin final, sustained. Plain typical Eurolager.

I really liked this beer. It’s best in draft - got a fizzy head and great aftertaste.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Not much of a bock if its meant to be one, flavor is quite bland, boring. A good value, as I got it cheap at aral(gas station) but not a great beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good looking lager with a lightly hopped aroma and malty bitter flavour. Overall a reasonable plain lager.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Super bock is a Pils on Portugese steroids...the pour looked promising....pale straw color, moderate carbonation, nice fluffy 2 finger white cap....aroma of saaz hops with a slight vegetal smell.. That was the best part...this beer is grainy and alcohol pronounced with (I suspect) hop oils that give a weird finish and after taste....not the best thing the LCBO has bought.

not a bock, more of a pils. Decent foam in pour, and reddish tinge to yellow. Can taste alcohol, though some (saaz) hops and sweet malt to get it down. Watery, thin-medium mouthfeel. Spot of sour dry aftertaste. Thanks Pootz.
