Hotel Cidnay Porto. Pale yellow beer with a small white head. Slightly malty aroma. Very thin taste. Watery. I ordered a glass of red whine instead of a second glass of this thing.

Bottle. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a lot of bubbles, a thick, fluffy, white head and a lot of white lacing. Unpleasant sharp aroma, of yeast and malt. Light taste, watery, crisp, and a hint of sweetness, of hops and malt. Lingering crispness. Not good, but somewhat drinkable.

This is a typical low end beer with very little taste beyond the initial hopps. Had this beer in the Lisbon Airport in Portugal. I had one and then drank a coke which was more refreshing.

Now this is a standard lager, very popular in Portugal. Pale colour, medium, disappearing head, hoppy flavour - all that one could’ve expected.

Bottle (330ml). Poured muddy golden orange with an averaged sized, rocky, white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of fruity hops with kiwifruit, canned peaches, apricots, sweet biscuity malts and some light grassy notes. Sour apricot yogurt dominates the flavor with a light bitterness, dry chalky malts, acidic grape skins (green) and some light plastic-like notes in the aftertaste. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation, a dry\some-what watery mouthfeel and an ok finish. Seemed I got a good bottle, which was still a disaster.

Can 33 cl, had a few of these on my vacation to Portugal. Drinkable but is just another boring industrial beer.

330ml Bottle - Pale golden in colour. Grainy aroma with a hint of citrus. Sweetish malty taste with a twist of lemon. Reasonably refreshing but does not taste its strength.

No nose. Average looker. Nice taste, light sweet taste - a potential curry calmer. A quick drinker, nto much of a stinker

Funny name - drank loads of these during our interrail in 2002, back then i didnt realise the irony of the name, but considered it an avarage drinkable beer.

As soon as I cracked open the bottle, I realized that there was nothing BOCK about this beer at all. Instant waft of super skunkiness, weird since it was a brown bottle. Pours a super yellow, no bock color whatsoever. Tastes super skunky, watery, not much true beer taste here. Stay away from it, it’s trash.
