1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This is typical sweet lager, pale gold with candy like sweetness in its nose. Light to non existent hop accent. Medium bodied, maybe due t its glucose syrup I suppose. Light sweet finish. This is as simple as that. Sweet malty lager with much less hop character than its eastern cousins.

Pretty much a bog standard lager! This would probably taste better on holiday in Portugal, after a bottle or two of Vinho Verde. Although, @ 5.6%% itís stronger than most...SUPER bock it aint!

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Donít you hate it when they call it something that it isnít. The early aroma was just full of skunky, dusty malt - quite macro-like thanks to the glucose adjunct Iíd say. The flavour isnít too bad, but a bit too much on the sweet side. Thankfully some bitterness helps it avoid a drain pour. After putting it aside for a little while, it seemed to improve somewhat with warming (impatience led me to pouring it while it was still a little cold). It developed toffee characteristics, but with a thin watery palate it just seemed out of place. Not a terrible beer, however just not a good one.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Not Super. Not Bock. Is Cerveja. Pale gold, 0.5cm creamy head. The initial intensely skunky aroma gave way after time to buttered corn and melon. Dry and soda-like on the tongue at first. Sweet and malty, developing maize and an integrated grainy bitterness. Typical industrial lager, dominated by adjuncts. (330ml bottle, best before Sep 05)
