Bottle; aroma was skunky and corny; pretty bad. Flavor was similar with some sweetness. Some cereal elements. Really not that bad of flavor; probably about average for the style. Strike Portugal off my list of countries to try. Better than MIller High Life.

Had a spiced flavour, heady and dark yellow colour. Drank in Macau, and I think it probably doesn’t travel very well aas it was a long way from home. Avoid if you like good beer

Gold with a large white head. Roasted grainy aroma. Sweet taste with some spicy biscuit in the background and a gentle finish. I’ve had worse pale lagers.

330ml bottle. Had it in Portugal 05/2007. Nothing special, just a regular macro.

Aroma is of skunkiness and hops. Flavor, thankfully, isn’t very skunky at all. Kind of a hay like flavor. Not awful.

330 ml bottle. i bought a 6 pack of this cause an lcbo had dlisted it and it was 30% off. poured pale yellow with a small white head. almost no aroma. terrible flavour and mouthfeel. i felt like it was sucking the life out of me. its not hard to make a pale lager but they manage to really mess this one up.

Good just off-white head, fed by heavily carbonated clear golden beer. Chaff, graindust, bit gassy nose. Digging deeper, I get adjuncts (maize, probably), and a bit of cheap alcohol. Adjuncts to the fore in the taste: stale wet cornflakes, sweet, and a touch of sourish CO². There’s your cerveja. Ugh. Sticky, cloying sweetness; CO² tittilation. Terrible lager. Keep to the vinho verde or Douro Tinto.

Flavour of dried fruit and cerea, and to some extent alcohol. Sweetish butterscotch aroma and flavour. Some nice hops as well, but the bitterness disappears quickly.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle from Sainsburys. Fizzy yellow lager. Sticky and syrupy, alcoholic water with trace malt and hops. It’s not a good beer.

33 cl bottle. Pale golden color. White, disappering head. Some hoppy bitterness - and that´s it.
