Had a bottle this one at the Brickskeller in Washinton, DC looking to try something new. Big mistake. Stylistically this isn’t a very accurate, or very good bock beer. Pours to a bright, yellow color, with a rocky white head that fades, and a good carbonation. The nose on this beer is slightly sweet malty and grainy. The palate is grainy as well, with sweet and pale malty flavors, on a fizzy body. This beer finishes, with more grainy malt flavors and then lingers slightly sweet. Very average beer all around, and a big dissapointment to anyone thinking they are going to get a decent bock bier.

Bottle- Pours a shimmery yellow with a full eruption of white foam, fading to nothing, and leaving no lace. Aromas are straw/hay/grass, stale hops, and some malt. Tastes bitter and of tonic water. Finishes similarly. Nothing "super" about this one. I won’t be "bock".

I drank more of this than any other beer on my trip. Its yellow, has carbonation, and alcohol. Typical mass brewed crap.

Bottled, pasteurised, 330ml in Portuuese restaurant, St Helier, Jersey. Pale gold, highly carbonated, short head. Dry CO2 cardboad taste, smooth malt but little else. Does go quite well with grilled sardines though.

Pale yellow with a adjunct laden aroma. Thin with a slight straw-like malty sweetness. Slighly soapy aroma. To its benefit, it does hold a bubbly white head, and has a little lacing. I’ve had worse.

Portugal, sun, superbock induced hang-overs. Why does this particular beer cause such pain the next day? It is nice and cheap though.

Although with a strong marketing image, this is no special beer as some people say. Too much carbonated to my taste and with no real interesting after taste on it. Regular

white head that looks a little bit artificially, like bath-foam and that is quickly diminushing pale golden color smells malty-sweetish,some hops, something corny, metallic tasts malty,a bit sweetish(but less than in smell),some citrus aftertaste some hops, bitterness ( a bit a strange bitterness,a bit artificially) rather boring

12 oz bottle. Horrible aroma. Is that supposed to be hops... Wow. Soapy, nastiness. Trasfers to the flavor. Not Good.
