Not Super. Not Bock. Is Cerveja. Pale gold, 0.5cm creamy head. The initial intensely skunky aroma gave way after time to buttered corn and melon. Dry and soda-like on the tongue at first. Sweet and malty, developing maize and an integrated grainy bitterness. Typical industrial lager, dominated by adjuncts. (330ml bottle, best before Sep 05)

Bottle. A pale golden almost clear coloured beer with a sweet, corny aroma. The taste is grassy and sulphuric. Quite a nasty aftertaste. Not nice.

Bouteille-Ne sent presque rien, sans mousse, sans texture, sans goût (on dirait une lager) et sans intérêt!--Bottle-Without smell, without foam, without texture, without taste (like a lager) and without interest!

what a crap, hugely disappointing, given bock is one of my favorite style. taste just like a premium lager.

[bottle from sainsburys] nose is pretty non-descript, a little grassy hoppiness and a slight malt accent which makes it slightly less bad than most pale lagers. body is weak, ive had worse pale lagers, but thats the best i can say about it.

Yellow beer with a white head. Faint malty aroma with some sourness. Malty and grainy flavor with a light bitterness.

really bad to be honets but i have to give it points as its not as carbonated as your usual lager an has some sort of flavour.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2005 Bottle (330ML) - found at the bottom of an LCBO singles bin. Poured a bubbly, bright, slightly hazy yellow with a sort of fake-looking white fizzy head. He-loooo skunky corn! This is only "bock" in the sense I wish I could send it "bawk" - smells uriney, sour, stale carboard grains and something that might be hops - or might be jute, for all I can tell. What taste there is is sickly-sweet and grainy cardboardy cream corn. There’s alcohol in there, but cripes, just make vodka or rum coolers if you don’t know about yeast, fermentation and FLAVOUR. Could be just about any S.I.L. I’ve ever had. Pointless all around - avoid.

(Bottled) Very pale golden color with almost no head but some lace. Sharply, harshly hoppy, plasticky aroma. Plastic-malty, slightly sweet flavor. Light to medium-bodied, stuffy palate. A 5.6% beer that smells and tastes like a NA...mmm!

330 ml bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget). Pale golden colour with fluffy white head that doesn’t last very long, some lacing. Grassy sweet aroma with notes of maize/corn and molasses, hints of vomit. Bland flavour, typical industrial adjunct lager, some maize sweetness, low bitterness. I think even Sagres tasted fresher than this one. Not a beer I’ll buy again. If I go to Portugal I’ll probably stick to vinho verde.
