Bottle: Pours a medium gold with a fast topping white head. aroma is corny and astringent. Flavour is malty and slightly pilsner-ish but piss poor. Blech.

Bart (2939) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 12, 2006
Clear golden-yellow colour, some light carbonation with an average white head. Sweet skunky aroma, little hoppy, not really pleasent. Medium to flat body, some very light sprankling. Finish is sweet, a very little citric-fruity aftertaste. Somewhat astringent. Not convincing, little flavor.

guzzler67 (1525) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - MAY 11, 2006
UPDATED: MAR 21, 2011 Clear, pale yellow appearance with good lacing. Straw aroma quickly turns vegetal. Sweet, corn syrup like flavor. Light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. So much for the redeeming qualities. Bock must have a different meaning in Portuguese.

biz82 (1328) - austin, Texas, USA - MAY 6, 2006
Dark gold with a creamy white head. Fruity malt aroma. Fruity, slightly dirty malt flavor. Alcohol is too prominent for 5.6%. Some metallic notes in the bitter finish.

HazelRah (276) - Summerland, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2006
Euro hopskunk aroma. Big bubbly head reduces quickly leaving what looks like club soda dyed with a bit o yellow. Alcohol dominates the palate. There can be no doubt that this is an adjunct lager of no particular worth but at least it is from Portugal and wouldn’t be too horrible for camping or the beach at night. Not a sipper, basically.

Golden straw colour, minimal white head. Aroma has malts and little else. Malty and grainy, medium-bodied and a tad sweet, plasticy finish. Plain.

Can. Golden colored pour with nice thick white head. Had a malty aroma to it. It had a bitter carbonated finish to it. It was ok.

Botlled. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is weak malt. Very little taste. A boring beer.

Pours golden color with little head. Tastes like... oh yea, nothing. I think this is the coors light of bocks. Doesn’t need to be considered a beer. I’ve funneled beers that are far better than this shit.
