2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 zach8270 (2816) - Henrietta, USA - NOV 17, 2009
(bottle - 330 ml) Clear gold pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is light and corny with some hints of grain, dry grass, and a light sweetness. Flavor begins with a mild sweet hint that moves to a bitter and dry grass middle. Very light bodied with a lingering bitter finish.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 kiwianer (708) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2012

It’s OK. Fine, but nothing remarkable. Very light in both color and on the palate. Has a moderate but quickly disappearing head.

Pretty funny its called super bock considering its a pale lager, heheh. Does have a real old can of pale lager feel about it even tho its from a bottle. Smell is very mild vanilla. Hah, I thought this was from mexico and now i see its from old porty goul. No wonder why its not smooth and mellow. Medalhas de ouro consecutivas! You go porchy! Yep old redneck ice beer thats been sitting in the back on a shelf somewhere. Good sizzle makes this go down without much of a gag reflex. So there.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Lowenbrau (346) - SPAIN - MAY 7, 2012
On tap at several portuguese locations. Average cheap lager. Golden colour, correct head, no lacing. Light body, fizzy carbonation and some bitterness. Corn taste.Nothing remarkable.
Tasted on bottle: more or less the same result.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 15, 2012
Originally rated August 2004. Second Portuguese beer of the night, the other being "Sagres". This one poured a pale golden colour with a shortly fading foamy head, and a bit of lacing. The brew is lightly carbonated with mild aromas of hops and malts. Crisp start with bitterness and a dry finish. Even though both beers were o.k., I will stick to Port as this countries finest drink.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 davidm (1362) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 30, 2012
Bottle 330ml from King&Godfree. Drinkable, but below average. Aromas of hay and wet leaves. Taste is sweet and metallic. Palate is thin and watery. Yellow, with a thin head.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Davros (1021) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 26, 2012
Pours gold with a large, fading head.
Nose shows hay, skunky, grassy hops and unexpected caramel.
Same story with flavours: hay, grass and some redeeming soft sweet malt, followed by a mild bitterness. Thankfully not too sweet.
Carbonation is too high.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Wittales (160) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Appearance was clear pale gold with white 1 finger creamy diminishing head, no lacing. Aromas was sweet musky malts with slight floral citrusy grassy hops.Taste was sweet biscuity malts upfront with lemony grassy sublte hops. Palate was crisp light carbonation with light body that fades quick into the finish. Different Portugese lager...
