The number 1 selling beer in the country – Aguila is Colombia. With an authentic taste that’s distinctly Colombian, you’ll always find Aguila at events and festivals. Our beer defines the Colombian way of life. The perfect beer to share and celebrate any occasion, our lager is a crisp, clear pilsner with a mild taste.

33 cl bottle with twist off cap, from Systembolaget Avenyn, Göteborg.
BB 16JUN13, sampled on November 12, 2012.
Marked 4.0% ABV.
Clear straw yellow color, small white head that dissipates fast. Vegetable, corn, DMS, some malt, a bit sweet, hints of cardboard scent, some somewhat buttery. Grainy smell too, and sugary. Mineral, grainy, corn, sweet, bland taste. Grainy and sweet aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.
It comes across to me as balnd, boring and fairly pointless to fly halfway around the world when such boring examples are plenty from our domestic macro beer producers.

330ml bottle from a supermarket in San Salvador. Pours a clear, golden yellow with thin head. Aroma is actually of hops, not eggs or grass! A revelation whilst in central america. Taste is pretty crummy though. Weak hops and a little after taste of hay. Just another crappy lager.

Flaska från SB. Klar blekt gul vätska. Doftar malt och metall. Mycket lättdrucken i 30-gradig värme. Colombia...kryss! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

På flaska från systemet. Nästan genomskinlig gul färg utan skumkrona. Luktar unket. Smakar surt.

I paid $5 for this swill at a wannabe gourmet convenience store on Miami Beach. Weak and watery and metallic.

Bottle from Systemet. Light amber body with a vanishing white head. Malty and corn sweet aroma. Rather tasteless and watery but thirst quenching. Typical light lager. Drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
