Bottle from angrypirate06. Pours with a fading head to nothing over a clear pale yellow body. Aroma of grass and nothingness. Taste is watery dry and grassy. Forgettable but not super offensive.

Bottled. Clear golden in color. Minor white head. The aroma is sweet and malty. The flavour is sweetish, watery. Has a bulk lager feel to it. It has a maize like aftertaste.

Bottle. Taste like a Miller lite with a bit more "umph"....End of rating. All these lagers are starting to taste the same to me. This is easy drinking, some malt, corn, and hop character....watery and over carbonated.

Poured a clear pale yellow with minimal fizzy white head. Aroma is a bit grassy, corny, and metallic. Flavor is watery and has a bit of a bitter metallic edge to it. Definitely a below average beer even for a pale lager. Not a favorite, not much to it.

Clear twist off bottle. Nice thin white head. Some sparkle within. Decent carbonation on the palate. Sizzles at times and I welcome that. Flavor has a detracting unique industrial quality that is somewhat similar in style to many cheap pale lagers of the U.S. genre. A little coarse at times on the tongue. Nice lacing, beleive it or not. Finish is again cheap pale lager. Overall it is typically a little below the average of many american pale lagers.

I thought this beer would have much higher rankings. Everytime I have this beer in Honduras(that must make a difference) i think SAB is crazy for not bringing it to the USA because I think it would be colossal. SAB bought out the original Honduran brewer. It’s like a smoother Corona, light. It’s the yuppie choice, even non bear drinkers love this one. Nothing quite like one of these on the beach while your listening to the islanders sunnin listening to the beats of Marley. Not a worry in the world. Recently available in a can, this is the highest priced Honduran national beer, the can version that just came out is only 10 ounces instead of 12 I noticed. I must say this deserves higher rankings, Cerveza Imperial is ranked higher than Barena ? Are you kidding me? Something is wrong here - as Imperial is horrible. Myself i’m more of a man’s man when it comes to beer(dark beer), but I recognize that this light beer is enjoyed by everyone who I’ve ever seen try it in Honduras, especially the non typical beer folks - i must admit I enjoy it also and I’ve had many a beer from all over. Originally this beer was named Bahia but had to change names over infringement issues apparently. Similiar to Sol, a more watery Corona perhaps but i’m still going to give a good ranking. Seriously I’ve never met one who didn’t enjoy this beer and that’s saying something.

Again a pretty sorry ass central/south american lager. Skunky and a waste. corn, grains, old hops. Move along.

Had at a beach bar in Roatan. Basically, it’s just like a Corona without the usual Corona skunkiness. It’s refreshing and drinkable on a hot day by the beach, but that’s about it.

Bottle. Shared with some Honduras friends at a BBQ a feew years back. Needed a Honduran beer to add to the review list. Not too bad, but not very good eiter. Better than Corona in my book.
