Bottled. Clear golden colour, corse head. A fruity,mellow industrial lager without much redeaming features. Sweet, light-medium bodied, lightly soapy some caramelized sugar. No bitterness.

Bottle. Clear golden with a short bubbly white head. Aroma of grains and malt, bit hoppy. Flavour is grainy and malty, sweet with a good hoppiness. Cheap ok tasting brew.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2003 Canned: As Shorlin says. Its better than Cristal. Not much aroma and flavour. A bit boring.

drunk to celebrate the election of Michelle Bachelet; 5 years after having received a broken beer from Chile during a trade with Don Bible, I finally got the chance to put my hand on this new country, so a big thank you to Robert Bürk for sharing this beer with me ! - clear golden colour with a little foam but a nice lacing; corny and moderate hoppy/herbal nose; sweet with a decent malt body and a low bitterness, some tartness in the finish; the aftertaste is decently malty with more corny notes - an acceptable mainstream lager

Golden lager with a thick white head, lacing. Light malty aroma with light german hops. Nice crisp malt with a decent level of bitterness, medium bodied. Went well with the caldo de marisco. Bottle at the Mercado Central, Santiago, 800P for 500 mL.

Minimal head. Clear gold colour. Almost no aroma. Tastes like a flat or watered down pilsener with some fizz..

Fortunately I didn’t have to pay for this beer whilst I was in Chile, not saying it was off or bad it just didn’t have anything standing out to talk of.

How surprising Corona is as bad as in palate says since I was young. this one was creamy and sweet, a little, good foam and nice shape. Was my last Chilean beer from my actual stash.

Bottle, poured a ruddy amber with a bubbly white head. A sweet malty aroma, slightly hoppy. Quite carbonated, with a sweetness in the palate again, but with a stronger bitter hoppiness which heightens in the finish.
