COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Costa Ricans have been enjoying this beer since 1924. Imperial is created from a balanced formula combining malts, grains and hops, without a pronounced overtone in its taste. It is what is known as a “centralized” beer. Adapted to a warm and spring-like climate, Imperial is Florida’s most popular and widely accepted beer, both nationally and internationally, and has thus become the favorite beer of Costa Rica.

single bottles that are clearly recycled and reused by the markings on the bottle and deposit charged. Good for CR, ok beer not much flavor to it, slightly sweet typical of pale lagers. Good for drinking on a beach, much better than Corona as a beach beer

Pale in the glass, watery in the beginning. The beer taste like a typical Pale Lager. A bit watery, slightly sweet, nice balance between sweetness and grains, very slightly bitter till the end.
A nice and thirst-quenching brew. --> 7/12/8/7

Nose is grassy, light caramel, papery twang, pale malts. Taste comprises a hint of lemon jus, papery, cereals, pale malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Meh !

Can. A clear, pale golden beer topped by a small, white head. The aroma is very grainy, with some cooked vegetables and a faint fruityness. The flavor has the same grainy and cooked vegetable touch, almost none bitterness. Thin on the palate, pretty dry, and with a decent carbonation. Sure a boring one, but it’s not awful in a way. 140301

So tired of these crappy lagers. Tastes nearly identical to most, but is on the watery side.
