Can from Trader Joes. Poured with a nice head, Stayed awhile, some grass slight hops, very dry on the tongue, drinkable for sure, even enjoyable on a hot day!

12 oz. can. Standard pale lager color and aroma. Taste has some sickly sweet and some industrial notes...I guess thats what you get when you purchase a Trader Joes exculsive pale lager.

This beer tastes like it’s gone bad. Sweet, but in a rancid sort of way. Really bad. Nothing good about it.

The aroma is very nondescript with nothing besides a little sweet adjunct malt and metallic hops. The appearance is pale gold with a medium foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a dry finish. The palate is thin. Overall a very tasteless and forgetable beer but not offensive.

Tasted can from Trader Joe’s into nucleated pint glass. Poured a clear, very light yellow color with huge, white, long-lasting foam and some fine lace when it eventually subsided. Neutral aroma except very faint light malt and perhaps a little adjunct corn, but acceptable to style. No detectable hops or yeast esters. Almost tasteless as well. Very light body. Slick, watery mouthfeel. Highly carbonated. Crisp, dry finish. Surprisingly decent light lager, especially at $.89. Far better than many American macro adjunct lagers.

About what you would expect. Yellow and foamy. Best served ice cold. The taste is decent but the aftertaste is a little rough

Appearance: Transparent straw, 2-finger head dissipates to layering, minimal lacing

Smell: Stainless steel sweetness, wool, raw dough, bready malts

Taste: Thin body, raw dough, red apple + melon funk, toasted bread, stainless steel sweetness, slightly creamy + metallic mouthfeel, dry, high carbonation

Pairings: Pizza, indian food

Can pours gold with a thin white head. Corn and soured pale grain aroma and fflavor. Not bad for being so cheap.

(can 6/27/11). Clear gold color. Large white head. Moderate sweet grain/corn aroma and flavor. Avg duration. Lasting sweet finish. Slick texture. High carbonation. Fair lacing.

I was actually a bit surprised by this beer. Something like 67 cents for a can at Trader Joe’s. Poured a clear golden color with a medium sized stark white head. Aroma was corn, cereal, wheat notes. Flavor was, well not as offensive as I had expected. Very light, and a lot better made than the ratings seem to give it credit for. Perhaps my beer was colder than others or maybe theirs weren’t handled well in transport?

$3.99 a six from the brand new Trader Joes in S.Salem. Actually not a bad looking lager in the glass bright yellow with a nice sized frothy white head..leaves good lace also. Aroma is simple corn and a citric tone. Taste is mostly smooth creamed corn, with a touch of sweet lemon . Not to shabby for a Mexican lager on the palate..thicker than expected. Overall not a bad simple lager..ideal for the river in the summer and at a good price.
