3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerIndustry98 (15) - , USA - AUG 28, 2008
Dark Brown in color, think Newcastle though slightly darker brown. A decent head emerges when poured. Has a slight nutty aroma. It has a thin body and a flat watery mouth feel. Notes of hazelnut and semi sweet syrup comes abound. Easily drinkable like a dark lager should be with a quick vanishing finish. Better than my expectations.

Bottle. Clear, amber coloured, pretty stable creamy off-white head, moderate caramelly to molassy nose with both a fruity and a nutty tinge; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, pretty soft; short not too sweet nutty and molassy finish with a fruity tinge. Nothing wrong with it......
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Suttree (3927) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 15, 2012
Looks like a slightly flat Coke. Grainy, lightly caramel aroma with no skunky notes - surprising since it came from a clear bottle. Flavor is caramel, lightly toasty, with just a hint of smoke. Not, bad, I’ve certainly had worse.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 5, 2012
(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a beige and tall foamy head. Sweet toffee-malty aroma with spicy notes of anise and a tinge of marzipan. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malt-accented taste with present notes of caramel, toffee and a whiff of nuts; moderately sweet and caramely malty finish with hints of sour dough and shy herbal hops. Not that bad. 20.I.12
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 thetmaxx (497) - West Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Took a few swings of this from the bottle, but found it to be very good, so I poured it in to a wide mouth glass. Aroma is plain of roasted malt. Flavor is clean, and chocolatey. Palate is pleasant. My ratings tonight have become generic. Overall a decent beer that I didn’t see coming.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 marcus (4054) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 20, 2011
Pours dark brown with a decent tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a mild carbonated chocolate and roasted malt flavor. A bit light on ingredient.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 nearbeer (2656) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 13, 2011
33 cl. Nearly opaque chocolate with ruby tints and a lasting bead of cream above. Nose of skunk, with hints of caramel and light roasted coffee. Flavor is similar, with some toasted nut developing a bit later. Medium body is smoothly carbonated and well-balanced. Once the skunk nearly wore off (or wore me down), it really was a special dark beer from Mexico.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 5, 2011
Bottled 355ml (BZ, BB 061111)
Deep amber color, steady creamy beige head. Caramelly, bock-like bready, toasty maltyness. Light to medium-bodied. Cola-like caramelly flavor, sweetish with light harsh maltyness in the finish. Suprisingly similar to some FIN/SWE/EST Viennas. Nothing special but way too better than expected.
