You must drink this beer super cold. It a knock off version of corona. The look is appealing . The product is from guatemala which is misleading .

See my rating for Victoria (Mexico). It taste the same. For a cheap beer its not bad. Better than Budweiser.

Bottle - typical Mexican style beer (although apparently made in Guatemala), light sweet malt/corn flavor - refreshing on a hot day I guess but nothing special ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. (clear ) Sweet with a citrus aroma. Reminded me of a weak lager and lime. My first from this country which was the only good point about drinking this beer.

The color is a pale yellow with a large white head, and the aroma blends bready malts, dough yeast, and a hint of skunkiness. The taste is mildly sour without anything else, and the palate fuses a medium body, average carbonation, thin texture, and an abrupt finish.

Well if you were to judge by its packaging, this looks like a blatant Corona knock-off. As far as I know, there is no Monterrey, Guatemala, so it seems as if this beer is deliberately being misleading about its origins. Regardless, this beer is in fact distinct from Corona, as it features some mild tropical fruitiness in the flavor that is not present in Corona. Appearance is about the same, pale gold, decent lacing. Palate is more watery however, and does not have as clean of a finish. Some unpleasant adjunct notes. Not great, but not bad either. For what it is, a good value deal courtesy of your local Aldi store. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Shit. From aldi. Chuck a lime in it and rehydrate. Hopefully it can keep my sierra Nevada buzz going.

Sold in an ALDI in Vermont; I expected better as the other beers I’ve tried from ALDI have been quite good. This looked a lot like a knock-off Corona...it tasted vaguely like Corona but was across-the-board not as good. Weak aroma, almost no hops absent...blander than any Mexican beer I’ve tried (I’d strongly prefer Tecate to this). Not skunked (was properly stored at the ALDI and we properly stored it before drinking) but the flavor was still off...in spite of the low ABV, seemed oddly heavy, and not as smooth, and not as refreshing as most beers from Central America. Didn’t feel great after drinking it. Would not buy again.
