1/2/10. Bottle courtesy Fratto... oh boy. Clear golden pour with a creamy white head thatís gone fast. Mild sweet tortilla aroma with a sweet corny flavor laced with metal. Meh.

(12oz bottle thanks to Fratto) clear medium yellow, few thin white bubbles. Nose of sugar, nasty skunk, grain mash, umami, stinky peppercorn, and old apple. Taste of crisp old apple, grain, nasty force-carbonated.

Bottle from Aldi! Light yellow pour with almost no white head. Aroma is skunky from across the room, mold, and then surprisingly a little fruit. Taste is just so bad. Itís just so bad. Hooray Aldi!

Bottle from Fratto. Part 2 of 3 of the Aldi series. Very clear light yellow color. Light amount of head. Aroma is skunky, metallic, bitter and grainy. Flavor is soured grains, metal, big bittering finish. Sweet metallic notes at the end. Bleh.

Bottle. Pale yellow. Smells of lime and malt. Tastes like a cheap corona which is basically what it is.

next time itís a lazy summer day and you feel like downing a cold, tasteless Corona with lime (nothing wrong with that!), head to Aldi and try this instead. As a beer, i canít give it too high of a rating, since itís nothing special. But at $4.99, itís cheaper than a six of Corona or Bud. Sometimes a Cerveza from south of the border just hits the spot!

The perfect hot weather beer. More refreshing than intoxicating. Good for a sweaty afternoon. No reason not to enjoy it.
