next time itís a lazy summer day and you feel like downing a cold, tasteless Corona with lime (nothing wrong with that!), head to Aldi and try this instead. As a beer, i canít give it too high of a rating, since itís nothing special. But at $4.99, itís cheaper than a six of Corona or Bud. Sometimes a Cerveza from south of the border just hits the spot!

The perfect hot weather beer. More refreshing than intoxicating. Good for a sweaty afternoon. No reason not to enjoy it.

Pours pale gold with a thin white head that has decent retention. Aroma is loads of corn, a little grass and stale bread. Flavor is sweet malt, sweet corn, light skunky hops, a little grass and a hint of toast, seems to have a light acidity. Sweet corn, red bell peppers, grass and soft water to finish. Palate is light bodied, slightly oily throughout and has a light-yet sharp carbonation. Really not very good stuff, but I would take it over alot of other pale lagers. Tasted much better when washing down my peppery potato chowder.

Got some of this at an Aldi grocery store. Dark gold body with a thin white head. The aroma is meaty with some fresh field corn. The taste is lightly metallic with a load of corn. There is also some bread crust mixed with banana peppers in the finish. It is drinkable and probably better than the Corona it is trying to imitate.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow. Although you didnt need to pour it to tell that. Leaves no head at all. Some carbonation. Smell is corn and malt. Taste, well not a whole lot. Very watery. Better then similar beers. Wasnt expecting a whole lot and its very drinkable and smooth.

The aroma has corn malt and a tiny bit of latex hops. The appearance is pale gold with a small bubbly head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s rather nondescript with all the stereotypical elements so common to this style the medicinal aftertaste is pretty bad though.

Little aroma, no head to speak of. Thin, watery taste, with little to commend or complain about. Bottle seems intended to imitate Corona, which this beer surpasses.
