Thanks to Chris and Judy for this bottle all the way from Guatemala. Pale gold and fizzy. Faint bready aroma and faint bitterness in the taste. Not much going on here to be honest. It was quite refreshing after sweeping up some autumn leaves.

Not bad but there is few special things. NIce malty taste and enjoyable in a hot day was.

The color is a pale yellow with a large white head, and the aroma blends bready malts, dough yeast, and a hint of skunkiness. The taste is mildly sour without anything else, and the palate fuses a medium body, average carbonation, thin texture, and an abrupt finish.

Well if you were to judge by its packaging, this looks like a blatant Corona knock-off. As far as I know, there is no Monterrey, Guatemala, so it seems as if this beer is deliberately being misleading about its origins. Regardless, this beer is in fact distinct from Corona, as it features some mild tropical fruitiness in the flavor that is not present in Corona. Appearance is about the same, pale gold, decent lacing. Palate is more watery however, and does not have as clean of a finish. Some unpleasant adjunct notes. Not great, but not bad either. For what it is, a good value deal courtesy of your local Aldi store. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Shit. From aldi. Chuck a lime in it and rehydrate. Hopefully it can keep my sierra Nevada buzz going.

Sold in an ALDI in Vermont; I expected better as the other beers Iíve tried from ALDI have been quite good. This looked a lot like a knock-off Corona...it tasted vaguely like Corona but was across-the-board not as good. Weak aroma, almost no hops absent...blander than any Mexican beer Iíve tried (Iíd strongly prefer Tecate to this). Not skunked (was properly stored at the ALDI and we properly stored it before drinking) but the flavor was still off...in spite of the low ABV, seemed oddly heavy, and not as smooth, and not as refreshing as most beers from Central America. Didnít feel great after drinking it. Would not buy again.

Clear, very pale yellow with a bright, white head. The aroma is almost non-existent. It has a light, thin body with average carbonation. Hmmm waaater. There is no taste, which I guess is better than having an off taste.

Had to get it just to say I tried it. Wasnít expecting much from it with that very light yellow color. Smells of hay and tastes of hay with a small hint at some lime or maybe lemon. Now that my tasting it is over with donít want that one again.

Is it buzzing me? YES. At the end of the day thats all that matters. And its cheap @ $4.99 per 6pk. Its light, refreshing and enjoyable. Just pop a lime in it and its pretty damn good.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, super pale gold with minimla head. Aroma is kinda skunky. Some hay and wet grass. Taste is light sweet. Corny with a little grass. Light bodied with a thin texture. Soft carbonation and not much of a finish. Meh. It was like $3 at aldi

You pretentious bozos have absolutely not idea what a good beer is. Just ask a tradie (like me) to rate a bloody good beer, served icy-cold, straight from the stubbie and weíll tell you that this is one of the best. Never mind "pouring it from a bottle into a nebulized glass, or it was served too cold", just ENJOY!!!!!!!
