Pretty much nothing redeeming about this except that it had an overall clean profile, nothing funky or grainy about it. But really very light and bland, fizzy, thin. Bright golden color. First bottle (clear glass) from the sixer was mildly skunky, but second bottle was clean.

This bottle 4.0%. Wet air yellow with a thin, scummy head. Aroma of buttered corn, matchboxes, a wedge of lime. Some decent shrubby hop in fairness. Licked matchbox with negligible sappy hop; sucked grass. Mineral sour. Nothing that makes me want to be sick. One of the best beers I’ve ever had.

This smells like urine. Effervescent. Golden. This is a terrible beer, I’m pouring it out.

Corny aroma loaded with carbonation. Not much to report here other than it is a watered down version of Corona and it is fairly cheap to purchase. Definite headache/hangover material. I won’t be buying it again anytime soon.

Tasted from a clear, silk-screened, 12oz bottle into a nucleated pint glass. Poured a very light golden color with tall white foam which subsided to a thin layer of bubbles and lots of lace. Subtle aromas of mild malt, almost-Pilsener-ish, faint musky hops (probably light struck in the clear bottle.) Flavor was mellow as well, slightly malty, slightly tart hoppiness, perhaps a little corn but not inappropriate for style, even a little buttery and creamy. Nice taste. Light body, smoothly effervescent mouthfeel, dry lager finish. I guess I was just in the mood for a pale lager, this was surprisingly refreshing. Better than Corona and nearly all American macros, far better than I expected. Went great with spicy food.

Pours clear golden yellow with a little white head. Nose is herbal and malty. Flavor is clean and smooth malt with a little aluminum in the finish. Nothing special just a good beer to drink 30 of in one sitting because that’s how many it will take to get you drunk.

Bottle. Pale golden beer with a light head. Yeasty and mildly dry aroma with a watery and yeasty bitter flavour. Overall too watery, yeasty and dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 12fl.oz. clear glass.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, citrus - lemon. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20111207]

Bottled. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, wooden, quite harsh and herbal with some maize as well. Flavour is bready, grainy, doughy and rather harsh.

Pale yellow with a white head. Corn aroma. Taste is fairly sweet corn with green apple notes. Not terrible but if you’re at ALDI pay the extra dollar for the German beer.

Thanks to Chris and Judy for this bottle all the way from Guatemala. Pale gold and fizzy. Faint bready aroma and faint bitterness in the taste. Not much going on here to be honest. It was quite refreshing after sweeping up some autumn leaves.
