Can @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Clear light yellow color with a small, virtually none, white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, cardboard. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a short to average duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat.

Lighter than Balboa and easier to drink on the beach or water, i ended up drinking more of this on my trip but enjoyed the Balboa better.

From my dear roommate: Pours pale gold with white head. Aroma of corn and a hop. Taste is much the same. There are a few notes of taste in this beer, which is a positive sign. In other words, this beer could be more watery. Really not that bad, but all I can write here is that it is not much of a beer.

There really isn’t anything to say about Latin American beers. They are all the same: pale, watery and bland. This one is especially bad though.

Yellow with white head and lace. Corn and wet paper. Corn and paper flavor as well. Thin and watery but very drinkable and fresh.

Bottle- Pours a light yellow color with a good head that fades. Grainy with a slight skunky aroma. Slightly sweet and mildly refreshing. Light with ample carbonation As there are not many choices away from the major hotels or tourist spots in Panama, go local. Goes well with the local foods. Compliments the climate, not heavy.

Canned, thanks to my brother for bringing this one back from Panama. The body is medium gold with a large bright white head. Light raw potato nose with some hints of corn and hay. The taste has some bitter raw potato peels along with notes of corn cob. The finish is a little sharp, a little like roasted peanuts. Overall, it is decent.

Bottle. (old notes from a visit in Panama) Clear yellow with a medium white head. Weak aroma and taste, watery and thin. Some malt, grass and corn. Almost no aftertaste.

Served from a 12 oz bottle while in Fuerte Amador, Panama on the honeymoon cruise. The appearance is a brilliant gold with a touch of orange. The aromas and flavors are malty with some cereal flavors.

Blonde colored with small head. Dismal, skunked lager aroma with notes of sulfur, reminiscent of Heineken or Becks. The flavor is not much better. Skunkiness and sulfur. This was from a bottle, so perhaps it was mishandled. Regardless, an inadequate version of a poor style, .
