0.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
There really isnít anything to say about Latin American beers. They are all the same: pale, watery and bland. This one is especially bad though.

Had this in Panama City, not too terrible for its style, I prefer balboa though.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2013 I know Iíve been generous with the score, however, drinking it on the balcony in Canopy Lodge, Cerro Gaital with the sound of Oropendolas & Motmots calling on a humid evening is something to die for. I even brought the can home with me. Salud.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Shared from a 12oz can into a nonic glass, thanks Greg. It poured a clear, straw colour with white foam, long-lasting with lace, better overall head retention than comparable beers. A bit hoppier, too, but skunky as if light-struck despite being in an aluminum can. Bland but drinkable (barely, if youíre desperate enough).

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts. Yep, itís a lager. Sweet malty flavour, light bitter. Sweet malty finish.
Not a great beer, but nice if youíre really thirsty and sitting in the garden in the sun. Which just so happened to be the case.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Canned, 0.35l, shared with CanCrusher. Clear straw color with medium creamy white head, fair lacing and almost flat carbonation. Aroma of grainy malt, straw, light yeast, citrus, cardboard, mild cooked vegetables and kind of mild smoke. Taste is light sweet malty, followed a bit sour grainy and finished chalky, bittereness is missing, of course. Light body, thin and dry texture and soft carbonation in palate. Kinda normal...

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2013 Thick head, smells like corn. Nearly clear gold. Looks refreshing. Lots of corn, but bring else. Reminds me of a Mexican beer.
