da845 (139), new york, New York, USA Apr 21, 2006 Not a bad beer, had it in hodnruas but its nothing great. A cheap beer thats perfect for sitting on the beach, would drink over any american light beer....but still nothing special. XtraStout (46), Alberta, Canada Mar 1, 2006 I think its rather amusing to find this here. When I lived in Honduras for a little while I used to drink this beer all the time. Its not a bad beer for sitting on the beach but don’t expect much. Still, I would take this anyday over a Coors or Miller. It has some metallic tones but rather wattery. The head doesn’t stay too long and the finish is nothing desireable. ghawener (952), San Salvador, El Salvador Dec 1, 2005 Bottle: This space would be a waste with a rating for this liquid, so I’ll use it to recommend you to visit the Copan Ruins, they are worth a tour. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Aug 25, 2005 dammit, must have gotten a bad bottle, wine like smells, lots of sediment, tart but kinda drinkable....i think i’m dying.. roatan91 (23), GREENACRES, Florida, USA Aug 12, 2005 Pours dark golden yellow. Frothy head. Very good on the palate. Skunky smell, but sweet close up. Malt aroma and flavor. Preferred beer of Honduras. Nice surprise and don’t mind drinking this at all on the beaches of Roatan. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 6, 2005 Hazy, lemony orangish beer. Green bottle, painted label. Moderately skunky, dusty malt aroma with some biscuity notes. Graham maltiness, tart, moderately astringent, underbittered. Quick, tart, sweet watery finish. Has some central European lager characteristics. Ramenen (453), San Salvador, El Salvador Feb 12, 2005 I did enjoy this beer on the sunny beaches of Roatan, Guanaj a, and Utila. Smooth, sweet flavor. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA May 16, 2004 Hazy dark golden color with a modest off white head. Plae dry malt with dry hay, light alcohols and DMS. Sweet sour mash and malt flavors. Other hints of vanilla and chalk.
