1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Aubrey (3192) - Bellingham, USA - MAY 1, 2003
Yellow-gold with a choppy, irregular head. Skunky nose blended with a sour, lemony bite. Lively carbonation makes it crisp, but there's not much else there. Light, corn-like malts with hardly any sweetness. Virtually nonexistent hop aroma or bitterness. Didn't find it as repulsive as some of these other posts, but it wasn't great either. Consistency probably varies from bottle to bottle also.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 silvorgold (21) - Brandon, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 4, 2012
Just your average lager from Caribbean or Central America. Tastes like straw, not as malty as most. There’s a bit of grain husk in the beer, which is weird. Not great, but could be worse.

Looks like a pale lager, tastes like a pale lager. If I didn’t travel to so many beach destinations I wouldn’t drink near as many of these...

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Drake (5232) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 6, 2011
12 ounce bottle shared by Beerandblues2 at the 5/7/11 DC Ratebeer gathering. Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Very fruity aroma with lots of stone fruits and some grain. The taste is grain, banana and a gummy, doughy note reminiscent of Gatorade. Thin-medium bodied.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 ben4321 (2222) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - AUG 2, 2011
Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 8/2/11
Aroma: The nose is along the lines of what you’d expect: grass, corn, and some apple
Appearance: A completely clear yellow with a lot of movement and a foamy white head
Flavor: The taste is somewhat sweet and finishing lightly bitter, thin overall flavor-wise
Palate: The body is light, the duration is short, and the mouthfeel is watery (not many surprises here)
Overall Impression:
I didn’t necessarily buy this one because I was expecting a good beer, but I had 5 of 6 in my MYO 6-pack, and needed to fill the last slot (Colonial only lets you buy from a select group of mostly crap for their 6 packs) , so I figured why not use that last slot to tick Honduras. It’s not quite as terrible as the overall score of 6 would suggest, but it isn’t really too good either.
