1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 rosenbergh (3486) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2011
355 ml bottle. 5%. Quisqueya Extra Pilsener. Brooklyn, NY.
Slightly dark golden colour with small white head.
Malt in aroma. Slightly rotten aroma and flavour. Malt also in flavour. There’s BB date on the bottle. 01/06. How should it be interpreted? June 2001? January 2006? January 6th 2011? June 1st 2011? However it smells and tastes slightly expired.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 janubio (236) - SPAIN - APR 20, 2010
Bottle, pours a light golden colour with a big head, it holds long enough and you can see bubbles coming to the top for a while. Smells of grain, fruit and actually a bit of vanilla! Watery body, mouth is more grain and fruts, with a metallic dry finish. Nothing special on int, refreshing and one sure could have another in a hot weather if it wasn’t for the metallic thing.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 beerbill (2938) - Laurel, New York, USA - APR 12, 2009
12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a moderate white head that lasted through three-quarters of the glass and left partial lace. Very light aroma of grains and not much else. The flavor is very similar with light grain and some mild hops bitterness at the finish. Thankfully, there is none of the harsh skunkiness that seems to often accompany Caribbean and Central American lagers. Not a bad beer, but not one I’d be likely to reach for again either.

From a 12 fl. oz. bottle. Pours yellow with puffy white head and some lacing. Aroma is of malts and barley. Light mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet and malty. Wow! I must have found a better bottle than previous raters because I thought this was alright.

Thanks to weeare138 for bringing this gem over. Poured a medium and clear yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of corn and grains. Tastes of the same. As blah as this was, there wasn’t anything really offensive about it!

Thanks weeare138. Pours a translucent yellow with a creamy white head that left some lacing. Aroma of corn, some rotten vegetables and not much else...maybe some citrus notes. Flavor of...yeah pretty much the same. Drain pour!
