Can have good head but disappears quickly. Unpleasant metallic taste intermingles with corn. I’d rather drink water.

It gets a 2 simply because it’s THAT cheap. Refreshing on a hot day, terrible as anything else... same old story.

A golden lager woith a quickly dissipating white head. A lightly sweet corn adjunct aroma, with light suflury notes (and this is a can). In mouth, a chalky and cardboardy malt with metallic hops, cloying and unpleasant, like Hugo. 330 ml can from Carulla, Bogota, 1200 COP (so about 60 cents).

Normal pilsen beer that cold it is much better. This one of the oldest brands in Venezuela.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2007 Originally tasted multiple times. Added to my RB list to check "Venezuela" as a beer country consumed. A staple for years at my favorite haunt Marcelita’s in Ohio on the Hudson/Twinsburg border. Pale gold, pillow white head. Aromas are mild. Grainy flavor with some sweet corn. Tempers the spicy Marcelita’s grub nicely.

Can – 355 ml. - It is a decent beer, without many pretensions. An agreeable aroma hoppy and a decent and average body. Not more that to say.

Canned. Pale golden, brief head. Corn aroma. Light bodied with mellow mouthfeel. Cures thirst, but does not offer anything flavourwise.
