2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 pumpmaster (991) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - SEP 18, 2012
12 ounce bottle purchased at Winn Dixie supermarket for $4.99/6-pack. Nothing special.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Finhead (914) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Pale yellow with a white head. The aroma is hay with some light grass. It has a light, watery body with average carbonation. The taste is slightly sweet with a clean finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Armed_Partisan (1) - Cocoa, USA - JUL 14, 2012 does not count
I’m not sure what others are complaining about. I’ve had much worse beers that cost much more. This is a robust and flavorful pale lager that I personally feel is better than most econo-beers, like Budweiser, which are much more common. The fact that it’s as good or better than the more common varieties and costs less speaks volumes for it, IMHO.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 jbruner (1125) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 26, 2012
I have only ever seen this at Winn-Dixie, and it was buy one get one free six packs, so I wasn’t expecting much. Appearance, aroma, taste all of a shitty American pale lager, a la Budweiser. I would hope that this is just some sort of crappy export from Guatemala and not indicative of what they actually make.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 drowland (4994) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - JUN 23, 2012
6/23/12. 12oz bottle via PorterPorter. Light clear golden pour with a small off-white head that fades fast. Corny aroma with touches of rubber and apples. Nasty corny flavor with apples, vomit, and other off flavors. Bleh.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 PorterPounder (4611) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - Winn Dixie - South Monroe St - 12 oz bottle. Pours a very pale golden, slight bubbly white head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma is that of that of a cheap beer bar the morning after. Flavor has a bit of a dusty, nutty essence to it with a touch of honey sweetness to balance it out. Slight metallic notes in the back end. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, but palatable. Does in a pinch.
