mocha beige head that disappears quick with some lacing. brown-dark red that still lets light through. hoppy aroma, roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. roasted malts, chocolate, coffee with a slight bitterness and mild aftertaste of coffee and chocolate. slight slick oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation and body. bottle 33 cl / dob 4-2013 / lot 201308

On tap. Presencia buen color negro opaco con ligera corona poco persistente. Carbonatacion baja. Aroma café y roasted con ligeras trazas de licor muy agradable. En boca es más neutro menos café y más malta que recuerda a pan el alcohol muy bien puesto. Final ligeramente seco.

Buena porter con aroma muy intenso a cacao y chocolate, muy agradable en la boca, cremosa, con poco gas, buen trabajo en mi opinión

Bottled. Black colour with a medium beige head with good lasting. Aroma is light toasty and buttery. Flavor has slightly notes of licorica, roasted and toasted malts as well. Sort and mild watery final.

Apariencia: Color marrón oscuro con brillos rojizos y capa de espuma fina pero perdurable. Aroma: Tostado con un curioso de fondo dulzón y algo afrutado. Sabor: A maltas tostadas y café. Una cerveza de cuerpo medio, baja carbonatación y una espuma que nos aguantará hasta el final.

Very well-made ’robust’ porter. Sampled at the Comenar Viejo artisan beer festival from a bottle. Aroma is toasted and taste is soft yet not overly viscous. This is a well-made beer from a brewery that has thus far impressed.
