Bottle had this while in Ecuador not even close to the Cervezas Nacionales Club made by the same company. pale with an unimpressive head. Seemed watered down. It was about the only beer in town and that is about it.

I don’t know why this beer gets such poor ratings. It’s not great, but for what it is it does the job. For a light colored and flavored beer from South America it is a good thirst quencher and is reasonably easy to drink. It doesn’t have a skunky aftertaste and it doesn’t leave your mouth feeling fuzzy. While I wouldn’t choose to drink this beer when other choices are available, it certainly isn’t a bad beer if it is all that is available.

[Bottle from Ivan.] Off-yellow and fast head. Watery metal and weak hops. Thirstkiller and no more!

Bottle. Very sweet and grainy. Small white fizzy head, fast diminishing, pale yellow body. Light bitter, short duration. Light cardboard, dry, light creamy texture with a lively carbonation.

0.33 l bottle. Golden color with small head. Weak malty aroma with notes of cooked vegetables. Dry malty flavor with herbal notes, harsh bitterness and some fruitiness. Thin palate.
