COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional Gaulish beer, on yeast, unfiltered an unpasteurized, at 6% alc. Produced on malted barley, it is aromatized with seven different plants an a touch of honey, which give this beer an exceptional aroma. Serve this luminous amber beer at between 8 and 12 deg. C, in a wide glass (or a drinking horn) and remember to let yeast fall to the bottom of the bottle. Do not drink more than two or three glasses of Cervoise at a time, and the sky won't fall on your head, in the name of Toutatis!

Bottle shared by my parents, they brought it from holiday. Gusher alert! Opaque murky amber color, small off-white lacing, no real head. Aroma has loads of herbs and spices: clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, koriander. I suck at identifying the specific herbs or spices, but there’s loads of them in this beer so at least some are correct I’m sure. Taste fortunately is less herbal and less spiced. Drinkable, but not my beer.

12oz bottle from Cave a Bieres in Toulouse pours a hazy dark orange with lots of foamy white head. Nose has a ton of herbs, lavender and rosemary mostly, soap, yeast, some chestnut honey, some orange. Flavor the same, bouqet garni, lavender, soap, honey, lime, malt, yeast. Lightly astringent, soapy finish.

St. Barth Beer No. 6. Not a bad little brew. The Lancelot Mix 6 I picked up at the Marche U appears to be the best thing going in St. Barth. Scent is light aromatic florals. Taste is a touch grapey followed by earthy grain. Bottle - Marche U - St. Barthelemy, FWI

Bottle 33cl. Amber cloudy (maybe without yeast it’s more clear) with a huge offwhite head. Malty aroma and some sweetness, maybe honey. Rich taste with a nice body. Medium length. Not bad for a French beer.
