Golden/amber under a thick film of white. Diacetyl-tainted nose with a goodly deal of alcohol wafting off the top. Creamy mouth. Butterscotch & bittered flavor. Lightly dried finish. Not too good.

On cask at C’est What. Pours a hazy golden orange with modest-sized off-white head. Aroma is fairly mild with caramel, fruit and grains. Flavour has grains, a sort of citrusy fruitiness and a mellow hoppiness. Modest bitterness in finish. Alright.

I tried this beer on draught on January 16,2012 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent red colour with gold hues and a thin creamy tan coloured cap. The aroma was butterscotch, grains, and weak citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, caramel, butter, and weak citrus. A pretty good beer.

On tap at 6th annual Spring festival at C’est What in Toronto. Cloudy golden beer with a nice creamy white head. PNW hops dominate the aroma. Flavour is fairly simple, caramel malt with a shot of citrus and spice hops. Long bitter finish. Well-balanced. Decent clone of better British ales.

Clear golden yellow with a biggish head for a cask ale, great lacing. Fresh grass aroma with some lemon and black pepper, slight background of citrus. Bitter beginning, dry finish. Nice malt and hop balance. Medium body. Mellow cask ale, served a bit too cold, but drinkable overall.

Cask at C’est What? on 10th June 2008. A hoppy, pale straw-coloured cask bitter with the texture and flavour of Milton Sparta, but rather stronger and heavier.
