Coffee aroma, darkest brown, hint of red, slight head. Coffee and chocolate flavour, very creamy. Quite tastey, and I don’t even like coffee!

Tap, pours a nice dark black, smell is very nice of coffee. and it has hints of the dark roasty malts but it seemed a little weak, it needed more bam.

Part of the beer float at cest what. Made for a very interesting dessert. Beer pours blacken colour. Great coffee flavour.

Deep black pour with a tight, creamy off-white head. The aroma is lovely. Assertive roasted coffee aroma over a rich, malt base. There is a lovely balance of coffee with the malt - its not overly extracted or bitter, nor is is vegetal. A lovely creamy palate and a fairly nice lingering coffee flavour. Pretty solid coffee beer.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 thb (484) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 21, 2010
Fantastic, fantastic beer. Looks wonderful - dark, dark brown with thin but lasting creamy cappucino head. I have not had a beer that blends the coffee and the roast together so well. Brilliant balance. Sweet malts, bitter roasted malts, bitterness of the coffee, almost a sweet, lingering coffee finish. Neither side of the beer/coffee divide ever dominates. Mouthfeel is wonderfully creamy and smooth. Not overly carbonated. Another please!
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ladnewton (910) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2010
Draught, at C’est What, Toronto on 10th June 2008. Rich dark porter ale, smoother than Mill Street’s Coffee Porter but exquisitely flavoursome and a perfect beer on which to finish an evening’s drinking.

Flavor is sweet and roasted with notes of caramel, toffee, coffee, brown sugar, some burnt wood. Generally medium body with a malty and light roasted finish.

Draft @ C’est What? (Toronto) Poured a black coffee color with an aroma of coffee, roasted malts, and chocolate. The flavor was more of the same with some nice bitterness thrown in. Overall, quite good.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Boutip (3459) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 23, 2009
Tap at C’est What: Poured a light black color porter with a light foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of dry coffee with light roasted malt notes. Taste is also dominated by dry coffee notes with some light bitter roasted malt notes. Dryness is well balance with good carbonation but body is somewhat thin. Not bad for the style but nothing to write home about as well.

nitro dispense at CW. long, moderately assertive coffee note, some styrene-like plastic flavors. Not bad.

Nitro. Pours looking like a latte, very nitro-looking. Head forms a straight line, etc. Strong beany nose, flavors also beany. Thin, watery, and silken due to nitro. Not a lot of complexity but not a bad beer.
