Fantastic, fantastic beer. Looks wonderful - dark, dark brown with thin but lasting creamy cappucino head. I have not had a beer that blends the coffee and the roast together so well. Brilliant balance. Sweet malts, bitter roasted malts, bitterness of the coffee, almost a sweet, lingering coffee finish. Neither side of the beer/coffee divide ever dominates. Mouthfeel is wonderfully creamy and smooth. Not overly carbonated. Another please!

Draught, at C’est What, Toronto on 10th June 2008. Rich dark porter ale, smoother than Mill Street’s Coffee Porter but exquisitely flavoursome and a perfect beer on which to finish an evening’s drinking.

Deep black pour with a tight, creamy off-white head. The aroma is lovely. Assertive roasted coffee aroma over a rich, malt base. There is a lovely balance of coffee with the malt - its not overly extracted or bitter, nor is is vegetal. A lovely creamy palate and a fairly nice lingering coffee flavour. Pretty solid coffee beer.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2003 A very very nice porter. Very pleasing appearance, strong coffee richness and very smooth going down. This is not a drink in quantity beverage, but is very pleasing while listening to some mellow music at C'est what.

Pint at C’est What. Lovely looking beer, and very similar in appearance to a Guinness, with a large creamy tan gead on top of a dark body. The aroma is of mild coffee, which is present in the flavour in a wonderfully smooth, creamy way.

excellent beer, I asked this by mistake, but I have no remorse, it was good and nice coffee taste. I don’t dirnk coffee but this was excemptional. The aroma of grains is just the best.
